I'm back! Fighting against Deception still it seems. What's new?
Kotaku has noticed this fiasco.
I saw. I noticed the amount of Facebook likes. I feel we have quite a few lurkers within this thread.

WHAT THE HECK? KAI LENG WAS AN ALLIANCE SOLDIER. THE ALLIANCE HAS LAWLESS MURDER-PRISONS?
I'm liking this series of aghast posts.
Yes, the Alliance has lawless murder-prisons where inmates fend for themselves. For some reason. Let's just throw the entire idea of military justice OUT THE FREAKING WINDOW.
It's called Hell's Half Acre, not to be confused with Aria's hometown on Thessia, which is Hell's Waiting Room.
I kid you not.
Do asari even have a concept of hell? What is this even?

"Batarian pirates slave-raid on the turian homeworld of Palaven" - This is one of my favorite errors in this book. A pure "LOL".... The writer didn't have a clue about the turian military capabilities.
I mean, it's not like the turian military ever decided to forcibly alter fertility rates for an entire species so they could win a war or anything. Or bomb entire blocks of cities from orbit to take out one fire team.
...ooooohhhh....

One thing I just noticed is this final review update was tweeted by Casey on the 11th of August. Thats 5 and a half months before release.

Oh stop lying you are totally kidding Elite! I know it's not your style but it's the only logical explanation. I'll just go prove it by searching the text...

This book causes me physical pain. I can't type in sentences with more than one clause.
Last night someone in this thread wanted to check if Kai Leng had met Aria in Retribution (since she acts as if she has no idea who he is, when she sees him).
Reading Mass Effect prose in complex sentences was amazing.

I'm still trying to understand how the hell a sharpened toothbrush was even remotly a good idea
Well they have been used to kill people in prisons so it not completely outlandish. Though if Kai Leng was close enough to kill Gillian with a toothbrush he could've just used his hands/body regardless of being chained up.
Wait did I just vaguely defend this? *slaps self*

We turned a huge negative into a huge positive.
A bad book into a bonding experience.
Hopefully Bioware can join us in the positive negativity.
Yes to both of these.
AAAAAAAND I'm BACK!
Didn't get much sleep.
Came here to see that spoilers have been posted, as expected(and desired).
Very happy with how we're handling this.
Got a new report, we're all still steaming about it, and its only going to get worse.
Hehehehehe, THIS IS WORKING.
KEEP IT UP.

I mean.... it is "Palaven"...their f***ing homeworld. Forget about Palaven, Batarians cannot do something like that even for Earth.

Yeah, I think the batarians would go extinct as a species if they attacked the turians like that.

You've clearly never seen someone breakdance through a minefield successfully then.
No, I haven't either.
