Was all ready to read more, if just for the ability to re-do it. Then I read the death spoilers.

Yeah, I think the batarians would go extinct as a species if they attacked the turians like that.

It's about as smart as trying to breakdance through a mine field.

It's not even the Batarian Military, it's just Batarian pirates..

So now that y'all know about Gillian's death by sharpened toothbrush, Nick and Hendel's lame assed deaths, and TIM telling Leng to get surgery, do y'all understand why we're pushing for a disavowing so hard?

You've clearly never seen someone breakdance through a minefield successfully then.

No, I haven't either. ;)

I've seen something that comes close.  Solid Snake fighting Grey Fox in Metal Gear 2.

OH, and Van Damme vs. Mickey Rourke in a stadium with mines!

I know. I tried to access it earlier and couldn't, but that was fine. We're back up now and we're still in business.

Plus, now no more PM's need to be sent with ending spoilers.

Know what someone should make? One of those Hitler reaction vids that are all over YT but for Deception.

I just really hope that these dead characters will stay dead in ME3, and future media. having them appear after being killed, would be the ultimate ****up.

Who paid off this Amazon reviewer?

TChris wrote...

Mass Effect: Deception benefits from a strong plot, a swift pace, and enough action to keep the novel's videogame background uppermost in the reader's mind. I enjoyed the story. It isn't complex but it's fun. Given that William C. Dietz was required to work within an inherited framework, he did a capable job of interweaving the various characters and giving them all a role to play.

Top 100 reviewer my butt.

What kind of surgery?

I haven't read the book and don't plan on buying it anymore.

You had zero thumbs downs when it was just BSNers, when Kotaku got wind of it the instant-thumb downers had their way with it.

Many minutes of effort had been required to research points of lore from Mass Effect Wiki to the notebook at his side. There were lots of things Dietz didn't like about doing research, the google search function, the one click links, and the BioWare Social Network. But most of all he didn't like the fans themselves. Not because they were vocal and and had a better grasp of the English language than he, but because they actually knew the source material and were therefore a threat to his struggling reputation. That made him a doofus, not to mention loathed, and that was fine with Dietz.
