First step in resolving canon issues on Mass Effect wiki.

Handling Mass Effect: Deception's Issues

I'm just one of the admins, and it's just my point of view, but it's where we're starting.

Jake, you're effectively the de facto leader of our wikia brethren.

Ha. The lead admin is Sparthawg, I'm just the only one who can stand you guys. :o

Oh I know who the lead admin is, but you're spearheading the wikia boys in this mess and I've been propped up in some "ritual behavior" here as de facto leader of this operation for disavowment.

Weird. Yet awesome.

"Klausner has been criticized by those who question whether she actually reads the books she reviews. They contend that her reviews are always positive in an effort to garner approval from review sites and publishers, contain numerous errors in spelling and grammar and plot points, and are limited to plot synopses, and point out that she must be reading more books than the two per day she claims to read, or that she may be posting reviews written by others."

What even.

Amazon.com Deception reviews are still go!

The three star reviewer dropped it too two stars and then deleted the review altogether. Very interesting.

Well, there is now a 5-star review. The reviewer has '#1 HALL OF FAMER REVIEWER' and 'TOP 1000 REVIEWER' under her name. I don't know how Amazon works, but I suppose that makes her someone important.

"She" (I'm pretty sure it's not a real person) has posted 20 reviews today, none less than 4 stars, and it's not even 6 AM.  She has 26,296 reviews all time (I have a hard time imagining there's anyone who's read 26,000 books in their life).

I find this highly suspicious, that's all I'm saying...

BURY IT INTO THE GROUND.

Done. Not going to write my own until I have the chance to read the entire thing (the things I do for completeness' sake...). If it prevents another ME fan from buying it, I can compensate for me shamefully putting money down for it, myself...I may even be forgiven by the Mass Effect gods if I can help prevent more than one sale...

Definite hack.

But of course they won't remove all those fake reviews.

William Dietz, just announced as the new lead writer for Bioware's award-winning Mass Effect series, had this to say:

"I'm really excited to work with such a rich universe. It's got all the things a science fiction epic should have! Lasers, hot blue chicks, teenagers with inexplicable powers... I look forward to my next paycheck... I mean steering this series where it need to go!"

Too much? Too much.

Nice summary on what makes ME a rich science fiction.

Dietz has indeed a fine taste.

Only thing that interest him, more specificly.

Hahaha!

Too good - this novel breeds its own issues!

You know the novel's bad when it attracts a hack reviewer.

You know how to tell when you, as a writer, are really bad when it comes to explaining the obvious?

WHEN INSPECTOR GADGET DOES IT BETTER THAN YOU!

I'm gonna laugh if the book doesn't get many reviews because no one bought it.

4-star, disappointed review submitted. If I get banned from Amazon, it was worth it. Look for it under C. Grimm.

EDIT:  *bows*

It's all for lore, Bioware.  All for lore.

Now there better be a bunch of 1 star reviews to bring its overall rating down.

The text of your review doesn't match its star rating.  4 is pretty good.

That's the whole point we want this review to take the highly visible "Most Helpful Positive Review" spot!
