This is where we find this has all been an elaborate ruse to avoid the cost of hiring people to fact check and, instead, have the community do it for them~!

And only now do they notice the gaping flaw in this masterfully executed plan.

THE BOOK IS OUT ALREADY.

Also, can the passage of Kai Leng eating Anderson's cereal be edited into the OP? Just because people keep asking for it and to act as an excerpt for the book, if you will. Just a small taste for what to expect from the book. A good thing to hype people up with.
Just add milk.

I'd imagine a PM to JeffZero would help you out. It sounds like a legit idea, actually, despite the fact I think it has a lot of comedic value.

Kai Leng...creepin' yo house...eatin' yo cereals...

also mass effect has its own wikia. if memory serves, casey even mentioned in an interview it was easier to just google stuff and look through the pages than go through internal memos.

250+ pages in less than a week.

Yeah.

This is serious business.

Wow, I sleep for a few hours and we've gotten to 250. Nice. Gotta say, I knew the story would be bad from everything that was being said yesterday. I didn't realise that the very existence of the book was pointless. Nothing happened, the characters achieved nothing, did nothing (aside from all the deaths) and sadly will become nothing. Also now the alliance has lawless inmate-run prisons? O_o

I think Dietz confused Batarians and Humans there, though in that case that means Human slavers went to Palaven.....GAH this book makes no sense no matter how you look at it.

Has any one sent the list to BioWare or some officials? Or are we just counting on them to find it?

I'm 99% sure they've seen it and were aware of the impending disaster even before the book was out. But they like their jobs, so they won't come out and say anything just yet.

And No... we can't blame them for that...

But what seems to be a hypocrisy is that - long time back (soon after the release of the second game) Casey appeared in an interview (probably, Bioware Pulse) and said that they value the feedback they receive from the forums and based on that they try to incorporate "things" that are technically and rationally feasible to their development cycle.

And look where we are at now!

I don't really care what anyone said in an interview - it's all promotion, often lies prettied-up - that doesn't matter here, really. Especially whatever he said regarding ME3. The problem is that they hired, and they KNEW that they hired, an author who had zero exposure to the universe, and they have no right to act surprised when he produces a story like this. What they do have a right for, is to proof-read and edit it. Which they did not.

Not for me anyway...

They use the wikia to fact check, yes.

Okay, may be I missed it...

But frankly, has anyone got any questions answered from this novel or any secretly brewed revelations, for that matter?

I think this still needs 50 more pages to surpass the origin thread. There were two origin threads equalling 300+ page.

Onward with deception hate.

apparently he's willing to break the law for some. Meanwhile Anderson's probably thinking to himself, "wtf? Why the crap am I always out of cereal?"

There was a thread about this right before it that had 50 pages that got closed, so it technically already hit 300+ pages of discussion.

Anderson's gonna give Shepard an assignment in ME3- You have to pick him up some cereal.

I think they're pretty much the same. Both are an insult to their respective universe.
