And Kahlee's line on seeing it all: "Why you rotten bastard, I ought to..." take the cake for being the most inappropriate thing, given the circumstances, that I think I've ever read in a written piece of literature.

Well, a close second has to be this, which occurs right after Anderson and Kahlee just got finished looking at a bunch of corpses in the C-Sec morgue to make sure none of them were Nick:

Kahlee smiled as they strolled out into the artificial sunlight. “A naughty admiral. I like it. Come on,” she said. “I’m in the mood for an asari stir-fry tonight.”

He grinned. “And for dessert?”

That,” Kahlee said, “is for me to know and for you to find out.”

WHAAAT?!?!

Minus the pumpkin, yeah.

Dude, you're expecting a response any second now.

It doesn't work like that.

You have to have patience. Come back at the end of the day and THEN ask if they said anything.

They have schedules to keep to and work to be done.

I'm not at all worried about ME3. Dietz isn't writing it and most of the 'concerns' are just the usual moronic whining that always accompanies every sequel.

I will admit I am concerned about how on earht Bioware managed to authorise this drivel to go to the print, but with eight writers and three editors on ME3 I'm really not worried about that story.

Yeah, the worry shouldn't be for ME3, but for the novel.

As a matter of fact, the novel's lack of proper editing and oversight was likely because of a ton of focus being on Mass 3.

I'm concerned that if they are allowing a monkey run their IP when writing a novel, they might as well allow monkeys to do it while making the game.

That was exactly my point! Judging by their insincerity to stay loyal to the fans the guys at BW are branching out to catch new fans, prabably failing miserably to do so and pissing off the loyalists in the process...

I don't enjoy being called a moron. If a company constantly makes or signs under utter poop, potential customers have every right to be concerned about future products.

Casey's tweet has been posted here many times now. We know that whatever review he did(if he even did one) wasn't comprehensive.

the difference, LP, is that they have, indeed, peoplne whose job is PR and comminicating with the community.....so, if they are doing their jobs, were have they been for 260+ pages?

just throwing it there....

then again one might argue that during the weekend they had no time or will to formulate a coherent damage control plan

god I just wish we don't get Silverman to try and solve this mess

And I don't enjoy reading scores or random twits whine about everything Bioware does and labelling it, for example, 'poop' with no substantiation, no evidence and no acknowledgement that perhaps they just don't like it rather than it being bad. Yet I still have to put up with it.

ME3's writing looks fine.

I'm enormously frustrated that they saw fit to pass Deception with as many glaring mistakes as it had (lore-wise, but also with characters) and it could've used an editor or twelve.

But reading into ME3 because of this is silly. It's a testament to how low of a priority the wider universe is, maybe, but the game writing gets a lot of professional attention.

Kai Leng breaks-and-enters, eats cereal, and kills a human wearing krogan skins with a magic knife.

Oh yes, what a badass.

I wrote a Kai Leng tidbit where he threatened to sell Shepard's child over to the Illusive Man after he killed Shepard. I think I did it better.

What's not as well known is that on my facebook, while having a conversation with Karin Weekes(editor for in-game dialogue at Bioware), I asked her if she knew that there was a massive thread here, a universal hate for the novel, etc etc, and she said that she was already aware of it, but could not respond YET.

Keyword- yet.

Hence us thinking that Bioware's unleashed the "Keep yaps shut till further notice" order, which would explain why no mod/dev has commented in this thread even though we know for a fact they've been monitoring it(proof through occasional post edits).

Well if you like the Mass Effect action figures, Mass Effect comics, save for Invasion, and then you like this novel. We have nothing more to talk about.

Mr hudson has a weird idea of what being badass means.
