Sometimes "Too many cooks spoil the broth"
As it happened with the novel series. What started with a dream-come-true novel of Drew, the next one failed miserably to catch up. It's not a matter of quantity of editor(s) but the quality.
Seriously, in my opinion (no offense to anyone) the story/plot which thickened at the end of Mass Effect was considerably diluted in Mass Effect 2 (except for the LoTSB and Arrival). Sorry if I have hurt anyone.
Moreover, I remember that Deception is a crucial junction point between "what has happened so far" and "what is going to happen", probably with why-s and how-s. On that note - we see one main character (Gillian) dies out-of-blue
while the ascension and retribution were probably revolving around Gillian with Kahlee and David as other protagonists (well, may be I am wrong about Kahlee and David being "other protagonists" when in reality I should have said they were the real protagonists) but let us take out Gillian out of the Mass Effect universe for a moment - now can tell me whether there were any absolute necessity of ascension and retribution???
So at this point, if someone assumes that something eerie (like it or not) will be happening to any of the main characters in the MAss Effect 3 can you tell him/her to be irrational and whining moron?
