The question is can they honestly accept that knowing they would loose face and money? EA won't accept that at all.

 "cackling hyena clowns" or something.

Disturbingly, I don't think you're too far off.

It was a bit jarring then, and roly-poly voluses ensconced behind desks certainly threw me off a little in Deception.

(I mean, ensconced is an awesome word by itself but the combination with roly-poly just stunned me a little.)

Not surprised we lost a star in this thread's rating system. Something gets popular or sensational enough and people start down-voting it. See also: Vertigo's twitter thread. LOL.

That was me. Accidentally clicked on the third star when going up to select a page. :(

LOL. Well it's back up to five now anyway, so I suppose I ate my words. :P

That was me.

Maybe they'll trash this novel and publicly admit it's faults when they start marketing the next one.
I'm a cynical bastard.

Deception performed by elcor actors
Act two
Death of tragic hero

"Soliticously - how do you feel."

"Painfully - bad... Real bad. Sadly - but it doesn't matter. Blamingly - Mr. Mitra killed Marisa."

"Unbeliavebly - so you shot him?"

"Comfirmingly - yeah... I was angry."

" Sadly - I'm sorry to hear that Nick. Reprovingly - Hendel was a fine man and he deserved better. Especially from a person he was trying to help."

" Nearly deadly - Miss Sanders... My parents. Tell them..."

"Falsely curiously - yes."

"Loudly - BANG!"

"Dramatically - Why you rotten bastard. I should..."

Nick jerked spasmodically as a shot rang out. Both Kahlee and Anderson looked up to see Immo standing about a meter away with a pistol in his hand. More shots could be heard in the background as other biotics were put to death. The salarian nodded politely. “Aria T’Loak would like to speak with you.”

“Why you rotten bastard,” Kahlee said, as she came to her feet. “I should . . .”

But there was no need to say what she should do as the butt of Anderson’s rifl e made contact with the salarian’s head. Immo crumpled to the ground.

“Come on!” Kahlee said. “If we hurry maybe we can make it.”

“The handover could be over with by now,” Anderson said, as they ran for the tunnel.

“True,” Kahlee replied, “but we’ve got to try.”

“Look!” Anderson exclaimed. “Gyrocycles. I saw them on the way in. Let’s grab one.”

“You can drive it?”

A much younger version of Anderson appeared when he smiled. “I can con a spaceship, can’t I?”
Way to kill a completely emotionless death scene, Anderson... :pinched:

"Oh, WTF." the BSN poster said feelingly.

That's awful. I hadn't even noticed before.

One of your students was just horrifically murdered by a mercenery shortly after shooting your closest friend in the head, how do you fe- LOOK, GYROCYCLES!

Guys. You should check out Lancer's latest comment at the Wiki's blog. He ran the math and what it says is funny, amazing, and for the devs, quite sad. I want to see a reply already. Stop sitting on it devs. You only make us angrier.

That was put up before Deception was released. They have however made no official comment about the release of Deception on their facebook page nor has any of the Mass Effect pages done the same. You can tell they are going into emergency meeting mode over this but I just dont know if we will actually see anything from it.

I can see them just trying to leave this under a rug and forget about it making no mention that these events happen in official canon and never bringing it up again in order to save face by making no announcement and leaving the decision of cannon up to it's fans which have already made that decision.

The page however is strikingly accurate according to timeline and cannon. I still don't see how they let this slip IF they reviewed it at all like Dietz said...which I'm beginning to believe is false.

Well, no one ever went broke underestimating people's inteligence.

Show of hands:  How many of you bought this thing?  How did that happen? Intentionally? How did that make you feel?

Reminds me of the ending of that machinima, "Charlie the Gentle Creeper."

"Charlies gone now...he's gone!" :crying:

"Yes...yes he's gone. How do you feel about that?" :(

"...I have to poop."

They better be having meetings. It'd explain Karin's response, if I made a sound assumption off of it(assumptions are mostly wrong, but you never know).

Heh, they should be seated at the Round Table, discussing what in the hell to do here.

Frankly, it sucks to be them. They must be either out of ideas or are unsure which of their few options is best.
