Ridiculous. How anyone can approve that is beyond my capacity to understand.

This

The Bioware guys dropped the ball, sir, that's why it all went to heck.  Anyone recognize where I got that from?

Convo with anderson in the normandy med bay after eden prime I am a huuuuuuuuuuuuge geek.:pinched:

Don't worry, you're among friends.  I'm just happy that there are other people who love this stuff as much as I do and I'm able to talk to them.

That's why we're here. That's why we're fighting against this novel.

We care. We love Mass Effect too much to let it get hurt by such an atrocity.

I'm really, REALLY sorry for what the wiki folk are going through right now... this is such a lore mess.

They know what they are doing however I think they are holding off for a bit and merely listing out all the issues right now before going through and seeing what works. They are on the right path for sure.

I thought I'd leave the thread with this gem:

For the first time in her life Gillian felt free. Because for as long as she could remember she had been a captive. First of the Grissom Academy then of the quarian fleet.

Ensconcing myself in bed. Here's hoping things are saner in the morning.

Heh, they should be seated at the Round Table, discussing what in the hell to do here.

Frankly, it sucks to be them. They must be either out of ideas or are unsure which of their few options is best.

"So gentlemen...we have a problem."

"You don't say?" <_<

"It's like watching a pack of jackals tear apart a rabbit."

"If the rabbit was skin and bones." <_<

"Now, now, I know this was a shock to us too. But someone really should have been watching him more closely."

"But what do we do now?! The fans are so angry!"

*door opens dramatically. Shadowy figure stands in the light.*

"Leave it to me!"

"Jack Thompson?!"

I honestly don't feel as if they're taking it as seriously as some of us might like to see. I really doubt that there's any significant kind of worry or the like. After all, the book is a small thing in the scope of things. I dunno. I think what we can expect is a brief statement with an assurance of all emphasis being placed on ME3 and so on.

Oh my god - 75 pages since last night! :o There's no way I'm reading through that lot.

So skimming through, I take it there's been no official response or anything regarding this yet?

An anonymous fan has crafted a moving letter to Bioware regarding the quality of this novel and his/her overall feelings on the matter and I ask that you take a moment of your time to look upon their work and consider utilizing it. You can edit and embellish it all you wish, but consider adding your name at the bottom and sending it to BioWare.

Fantastic letter; polite, nicely balanced and not overly critical. Just the sort of message that needs to be sent.

Pretty sure Gillian LOVED the Flotilla. She would never say she felt like a captive on it.

YESSIR!

Also, I can't edit the document anymore. Way too many people are accessing it right now! Haha!

Also, I gotta give you this pearl, straight after the cut from the excerpt:

There were times when Kai Leng was required to deal with various forms of hardship. This wasn’t one of them.

Wow Mr. Dietz. Just... Wow!

What is that first phrase even doing there in the first place?!

The book situation is important because of the LORE issues.

That's INTEGRAL to Mass Effect.

Death of tragic hero

"Soliticously - how do you feel."

"Painfully - bad... Real bad. Sadly - but it doesn't matter. Blamingly - Mr. Mitra killed Marisa."

"Unbeliavebly - so you shot him?"

"Comfirmingly - yeah... I was angry."

" Sadly - I'm sorry to hear that Nick. Reprovingly - Hendel was a fine man and he deserved better. Especially from a person he was trying to help."

" Nearly deadly - Miss Sanders... My parents. Tell them..."

"Falsely curiously - yes."

"Loudly - BANG!"

"Dramatically - Why you rotten bastard. I should..."

Pure awesome
