Pretty sure Gillian LOVED the Flotilla. She would never say she felt like a captive on it.

Yeah, we had a field day with that one.

The 'sweeping aside' thing can easily be applied to the lore thing as well. They can simply state that it's just a standalone novel based on the ME world and that the events occurring within are would could happen, not necessarily what really happened. Or something.

"It's only canon in the universe where Shepard died at the end of ME2. Much to The Illusive Man's horror, he found out all continuity was tied to Shepard's body and it's total destruction caused untold unweaving in the fabric of the universe."

First comment:

I'd like to meet the people who read these Mass Effect, Halo, Dragon Age books. Seriously, there's so many great novels you could read, and you chose ones based on video games??

Remind me to never go on Kotaku again.

Hey! With a little bit of tweaking, that would actually justify TIM bringing back Shepard! :wizard:

DA2 sold well off the reputation of Origins, then word spread about how lame it was and sales almost stopped completely. Same thing will probably happen here.

Just what I was thinking of.

This is a MIRROR of the DAO-DA2 situation.

For those who view the Doc but aren't actually editing it, could you use the preview version instead, so editors can still access it?

To switch between the two just look at the address and change 'edit' to 'preview' and vice-versa.

I wonder if ME: Deception will ever become a "collector's item", considering its overall negative reputation is legendary.

I'm sorry, I can't breathe, I just refreshed and saw Woo's pithy post at the bottom of the page, laughing too hard.....the indignant indifference....too much....to bear.

People are going to see the bioware logo under the thread, get all excited, click it, and get to: "Spam posts removed, bans handed out."
LOL.
