Can't wait to have people unaware of Kai Leng's role in Deception come to the BSN talking about how awesome and badass they think he is, only to have cereal and pee jokes thrown back at them.

It will be glorious.

Seriously, going offtopic like that is asking Bioware to lock this.

I bought Deception Kindle edition from Amazon.com

I knew this is bad, in fact, I knew this is damn awful but I thought I do proper read through just to get material to make a good review and then, I have some other uses for this thing as well.

I warn anyone not to buy this book. I have now learned about batarian wearing an eye patch, how damn stupid would that look?
Also we are starting to have eye implants now in the real world, sure they are rare luxury in the time of star ships.

Then the whole thing going on at that point, the cereal killer stuff is infamous for a reason but that really seems to be just a tip of an ice-berg.

Took one for the team. My condolences.

Way to go off topic guys. You know there's a thread already to talk about Diana Allers(who looks like Snooki but Jessica Chobot voices her).

Apparently, through Kotaku, this is getting more and more famous as time passes by as you can see, here. :D

I'm definitely certain that with THIS much negative reputation, it's worse for Bioware to stand around behind the scene than actually doing something.

Gamerants sure knew to pick nice image to go with the article. :P

The energy you used downloading it could have used to toast bread. Someone has to go without toast for breakfast. Now it's on Dietz.

I just can't bring myself to believe the tweets

There are tweets? As in responses from Bioware or...?

Endorsements from very high-up and thus responsible people (wink wink)

Someone like Casey Hudson.

Mother of god.

Honestly, ask yourself. Can you ever take Casey Hudson seriously? I don't think I can.

In an attempt to mitigate my offtopicness, I must say that the amount of trees killed to print this is making me feel genuinely sick. I'm not joking. Whatever BioWare says (if they say anything at all) will not undo that tragedy.

I have my ways to get even, it's just that reading this thing is almost physically painfull. It feels like twist one's brain. I know it's impossible but still.

Shall we start taking bets on when Bioware are breaking their silence?

They've left it WAY too late if you ask me

Overall, I found the quality of the writing to be improved over the previous books, and this is likely the best of the series so far.

The World Wide Fund? I mean, imagine them reading the book themselves...

Glad I'm not the only one who found that image slightly offensive.  You're a gaming news site - who do you think your readers are?!

Sorry about that.

Anyway my review for the book finally went up on book review. Didn't make much of a dent in the ratings however.

So apparently, the volus information broker Barla Von is one of Anderson's "old friends"... despite the two never having actually met before, according the first Mass Effect game. :pinched:
