You know, ever since I cancelled my order for Deception, I'm wondering how the book ends.

Can anyone tell me how it ends (through a PM or something)?

You can just find out here.

All I dug up is killing toothbrushes and cereal-eating assassins.
And humpin' before a relay jump.

I just died a little inside. Again.

And it seems people have edited the Cereal Guy and gave him a haircut... of the assassin, I guess?

Anyway, almost everyone is vague about the ending.

Nick headshots Hendel, random guy kills Nick, Leng shanks Gillian and the Council blame Cerberus again. Oh and Aria isn't apparently a biotic.

I think her and Nick were made 18 so they could headshot two wholly undeserving people.

Was Dietz scared of killing off teenagers or something because children are precious?

Take a passive glance over Jack's youth.

Sh*t happens no matter a character's age.

Sweet, each step like this is a step closer to preserving the Mass Effect universe. Bioware may thank us for this one day.

Slowly at first, and then with increasing speed, the rings began to spin as the ship closed in. Then, once the Pictor was about five hundred kilometers away, the relay fired and the freighter was consumed by a vortex of dark energy. It shimmered and disappeared. But because Anderson was busy making love to Kahlee he missed the transition from one state to another

Skadoosh.

The "blame-it-on-Cerberus!!!" card is old. Too old.

Why couldn't Dietz up with something more... innovative?

Anyway, I am disgusted to hear that Anderson banged Kahlee and that Leng acts like a terrorial dog. And how the heck can you shank someone with a toothbrush?!

...Wait, don't answer that. Dietz is the answer.

I like these kinds of comments on this issue:

These people have waaaaaay to much time on their hands.
And thats coming from someone who spent the last 4 hours making orogami seals.

And-

Spent the last few days of my time compiling a list of everything that's wrong in a half-baked video game tie-in novel. [Error: Life]

And by "like" I mean "hate how hypocritical people get because it's not something THEY care about yet apparently have enough time on THEIR hands to berate others for wasting their OWN time."

So we have Kotaku, N4G, Eurogamer and the Escapist covering this now. It's amazing that Bioware is still quiet.

Also Colonist Shep and Grunt technically have ****ed up childhoods. Grunts a couple days old and he's already killing people.

Look at the bright side a gay romance in a hoppefully a non-canon Mass Effect universe

As of the day before yesterday I was anticipating this book, yesterday I discovered the list, this morning I read as far as I could force myself through the teaser... I no longer want this book, and it suck because I am a huge Mass Effect fan and usually jump on new content.

Why, Casey? Why?

It makes me happy to see all of us working towards a common goal, and that goal is to get Bioware to say the book in not canon and bury it in the desert with copies of the ET game.
