Definitely hitting 300 pages today.

God, its like this thread has existed for months.

Wait, it hasn't?

Imagine if it did. Imagine if this amount of posts continued for just 3 months. Now imagine 6. Now a year.

WUT.

So, back in "Ascension", Cerberus was willing to attack the Quarian flotilla to retrieve Gillian and now that they have a perfect opportunity to do so, Kai Leng would rather stab her with a tooth brush?

They need to do damage control, though.
This publicity isn't going to help their game sales.

I don't even care about the game and I know this is pretty bad.

True, but they aren't exactly known for listening to the concerns of their fans.

Well, that's not quite fair; they listen, they just don't always take away the right message:

i.e., most people had issues with the Mako, and would have liked better handling, etc. and Bioware ended up just scrapping the whole thing.

Kind of like complaining because the dog wet the carpet, and taking it out back and shooting it in response.

Just gross over-reaction to criticism without first understanding why the criticism was given in the first place.

I think Bioware cares what their fans think, but just not so much that they will openly take a pie-in-the face mea culpa about this book unless it starts affecting preorders of the game.

But I've beat that horse many pages ago............

Are you using the link on the first page? You need to replace preview with edit if you are.

Got it, thanks.

This seriously has to be the fastest growing thread in the history of the BSN, and probably the old BioBoards too.

It's beat by the original Origin thread.

Just swap 'edit' for 'preview' in the link - if you still can't it means we have too many people accessing through the 'edit' link at the moment.

I read that as Dietz saying "she's not in ME3...therefore I must KILL HER IN THE STUPIDIST WAY I CAN THINK OF!!!!"

At least, that's my best guess as to why Gillian, Hendel, and Nick are all dead.

Its spreading even wider now, which is marvelous.

Still, we've all gotta wait for Bioware's response.

I agree. I'm actually sort of proud of this community at the moment, and happy to participate in this monumental BSN event.

This is spreading faster than the Origin debacle, Bioware's failed (US exclusive) community event a few years back, and I would go as far as to say it's gotten more popular than Talimancer threads. Yeah, I said it.

That made them a bunch of idiots, not to mention pointlessly destructive, and that was fine with The Illusive Man.

He was probably told to tie off their stories. He did so in the most moronic way possible. Why? I have no clue but the lack of real effort is frightful.

Or they weren't in ME3 because of the novel's script.

This has become my most visited thread in the whole of BSN within a week compared to the other threads I visit once or twice a month.

Oh thank you, Dietz. You've united us all in hate!

Well, I think at this point with the thread so large, the ratings going so low, and all of the reports on this story there is going to be at the very least a guaranteed marketing meeting at bioware shortly to deal with the fallout of this.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall

So is Dietz supposed to be Homer? Because that would make a pretty good Dietz stand-in for memes. They're both bald for one and have written some trashy stuff in their time :bandit:

This could work too, I think.

Hanlon's Razer, do not attribute BioWare of conspiracing against us if all you need is a non-conformist pissing against the wind.

Hopefully they can learn from their mistakes with this whole debacle. Bioware will thank us for this oneday.

That's even worse actually. It's letting Dietz decide the characters' fates. What if he killed Aria? or Anderson?

So funny how this guy on Amazon literally admits that he rated it 4 stars because he felt it was getting to many negative reviews. What kind of review is that?

He's a POSI-TROLL.

That was me.  I'm trying to avoid getting banned, lol.  Notice the rest of my post was completely against the book.
