Maybe Deception was designed to bring everyone concerned about ME3 under one united banner in loathing Deception?

Dunno, I've seen a lot of people who absolutely no concerns for ME3 and love everything about it have their fair share of hating Deception.

Yeah. Including me, apart from that whole Beattie ordeal.

Mark my words: THIS is Bioware's biggest mistake. None of the others equal it.

Thats exactly what I mean.

Now instead of the fans hating on each other - they're united hating Deception.

How about what they did to renegades in ME3? Or DA2? You really think this book is even worse?

Hang on...is this the first time in the history of the forums that people have been more brutal on-topic than off?

Yes, this thread is unique in many ways. It looks that even trolls are afraid leave darkness of their bridges and come here.Image IPB

I think that the wiki letter should be posted as a different thread as the op. That way it will be easy to access.

Why not make a thread then?

Made it. ;)

Well, some people on these boards called me a hipster who goes against what everybody else thinks is cool, so I guess I'll go into that role. Least for one post.

Dietz is a literary genius who rivals Tolkien and Martin, they should cancel the The Hobbit because the big bucks are on a movie adaptation of this novel.

Controversial yes, but it didn't violate the most basic, easily-knowable laws of the lore

I can't speak for ME3, as I have not nor do I have any desire to read  the leaks, and I'll admit to being one of the less critical crowd for DA2, but you have to admit.  Neither of those things riled up the fans so unanimously as this book.

What did they do to renegades in ME3 then? Oh, you mean Timmy using the Collector Base "for his own goals"? No surprise there. (No offense intended!)

And DA2 wasn't that much of a failure. Sure, it wasn't a good game, but at least it has a better story than Deception.

We don't hate, we love.
We don't curse, we embrace.
We have no argument but our passion.
We have no doubt but our good will
We have no deception but our clarity.
We have no banner but our deeds.
Through love, we embrace passion.
Through good will, clarity daunts our deeds.

And we do not f&cking tolerate errors in our IP damnit!

Why make a second thread when it is already being discussed here?

Not to mention there's a link in the OP's post that brings you to that very letter...
