So, Kai had the Mass Effect equivalent of the pimp cane from Saints Row?

I forget but wasen't that actually a weapon. Well anything is technically a weapon but, you know what I mean.

What page does it say that on?

Because that makes no sense at all.

Illium is in the Terminus System.

I'm more hung up on the fact that it's on the other side of the galaxy.

Have you never seen olives?

I've seen plenty of olives, my mother loves them. I've just never seen them that small. :P

Also, Kai Leng apparently travels from Illium to the Citadel on a vessel using normal FTL.

54. Dietz even explains (incorrectly) that you can't see anything when a vessel is using FTL.  Also, he seems to think FTL in ME is hyperspace:

But after entering normal space Leng could see the incredible space station that functioned as the political, economic, and cultural center of the galaxy.

So obviously he thinks that Mass Effect is just another name for Star Trek.

Oh, and....

Because the more material they had to look at the less time would be spent on each individual item, thereby increasing the likelihood that agents would miss the fact that his cane could be converted into a rifle barrel— that the ornate carving set acquired on Illium included a razor-sharp knife that could be used for slicing just about anything.

OOWWW!  Just, just...OOOOWWWWWWWW!!!

That one REALLY HURT, didy.  FFS...

Sure. That'd only take about...three thousand years, give or take.

Actually eyeballing the distance i would say it would take 8-10 years - that's not including the gazillion times he would have to stop to discharge the drive core or refuel.

FTL, hyperspace, warp speed, they're all the same thing. A writer shouldn't bother with such small details as the fundamental elements of the universe he's writing about.

Since when does Omega ever have "artificial daylight" on it???

Does Dietz have no bloody idea as to what Omega is suppose to be like, or does he believe that it's like one of those space colonies from Mobile Suit Gundam? <_<

You don't seem to understand the scale of the distance between them. Those ingame FTL speeds are purely cosmetic.

Seriously?  That's usually the FIRST F***ING PLACE YOU GO TO once you get on the Normandy!

He never played or even watched footage of ME2.  Nope.  Not a chance.

No, I think it'd take a little longer than that.

http://dwebart.devia...p-2-5-206966585

It takes eight minutes for the light of our sun to reach Earth and that's within the same solar system.

Even if he travels at a speed faster than light, it'll take a very long time.

Trust me i do comprehend the distances, Perhaps you're not acquainted with the speeds dictated by a conversation you can have with Ashley where she explains that she took her sister to school  "only a dozen light years away - a days journey" this equates to a speed of around 4000C (low) - considering the distance between the citadel and Illium is around 30.000 to 40.000 LY would make it a 8-10 years journey.

Doesn't mean that there wasn't a relay involved. A days joruney could be traveltime to the relay and from it. Could be it takes a few hours from a relay in a cluster to a system.

well it does preclude a relay involved since it was in the same cluster - only cluster to have two relays is the omega system.
