On the Gamefaqs community, they are working on a replacement novel for this, 3 words at a time. The following, while disturbing, is factually better than Deception.

Please be advised, there are some sick people at Gamefaqs:

I hear Hoover are looking into the practicality of using it as a self powered vacum cleaner.

And btw, when ur finished, copy-paste the review to amazon.ca and amazon.co.uk. Let the world hear it.

Only managed to get 7 on .ca so far. Still, the rating's still at a 1.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with how the ratings look. Been keeping on them all day. I hope they are helping anyone who didn't pre-order but was still interested.

Yeah, I think the message is pretty clear. The Dietztanic is going down, slowly but surely.

maybe if you read it 3 or more times, you adapt and the book gets better.

Or you go mad and start painting the walls with your own feces. It's a tough call.

“There is evidence that Paul Grayson, the man who invaded the academy and murdered a number of staff members, was a Cerberus operative at one time. Then, for reasons we aren’t sure of, the Illusive Man turned on him."

Um, we know exactly why TIM turned on him: because Grayson turned on him first. And Anderson knows all this because Kahlee told him. I think there was a novel about it or something...

Who says that, Anderson?

Yeah.  And that "we" refers to him and Kahlee, and if there's anyone who knows why TIM turned on Paul, it's her.

By we, Dietz me he and his editor and simply forgot he was writing dialogue for Anderson.

To be fair, does Kahlee tell Anderson about Gillian?  I would think she'd want to keep Gillian's location, on the Idenna, secret, right?

@LordAesir

There's a scene in Retribution where Kahlee tells Anderson about what happened to her during Ascension, but doesn't go into great detail.

Did anyone dare to rap out an order for a Happy Bowl on Omega, by the way?

is a social experiment. They are trying to find out how much low can their products be until BSN bands together against them. Knowing this limit allows them to maximize profit with minimal rage storms.

I like how Anderson acknowledges how meaningless he is to the so called "plot" of this literary abomination.

"Do you think that will work?
No, but as far as I know, we don't have anything better to do."

3) The same f***ing opening as "The World is Not Enough", widely argued to be the worst Bond movie. (Seriously, watch that opening, you'll agree it matches the book).

I like that movie. :? Much better than Die Another Day, Live And Let Die, and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Yes, which I why I said she told him all about it:

He waited for her to speak, but after several minutes of silence he realized he would have to be the one to break the ice.

“Kahlee? Tell me why you’re here.”

He listened carefully as she told him about Gillian, Grayson, and Cerberus. He tried not to show any reaction, keeping his face and manner calm both for her sake and to avoid drawing the notice of the other park patrons. When she was finished, he took a deep breath and let it out in a long, easy sigh as he thought about everything she’d said.

Is that from Retribution? (doesn't read at all like Dietz's work, unless I missed it somewhere in this mess of a book...)
