I'd just suggest avoiding any and all comments on these articles, they do nothing but ****** me off.

Half of them didn't even look at the doc, and the ones that did don't seem to realize the seriousness of some of them.

I totally agree with Costin_Razvan, a hundred of pages back some people were complaining how the book's story is completely meaningless, well that's funny, you know what other story is meaningless? ME2's. This sort of rage storm should have started with ME2 instead of Deception.

There's something called "willing suspension of disbelief", is what makes you believe that FTL is possible and enjoy a sci-fi story, but when is pushed to far, you break the suspension of disbelief and you ruin it. Rebuilding Shepard, and with his memories intact neverless, is pushing it too far for even sci-fi standards. Yet we have here, marked with red the batarian raid of pavalen because that is imposible.

Yes....we....are. Eventually, there will be too much pressure for Bioware to stay silent about this. They will HAVE to issue a formal statement about it, otherwise this will continue forever.

This isn't the place to discuss how ME2 affected the Mass Effect universe - I happened to enjoy it, but different strokes.

There is another  lore/technology mistake to discuss.

Hologram of TIM in crematorium - in crematorium Gillian, Zon and Leng thought, that hologram is real TIM. But isn't all holograms in ME games transparent, which would be especially vissible on background of fire pilar? All person were only few meters from him.

I think the point of ME2, as was the point of Deception, was to really flesh out the Universe, locations, characters etc.

ME2 to give us TIM, Cerberus, The Quarians etc. Deception to show us Omega more the Citadel, Cerberus and Leng.

Both have major issues.

Probably partly, in allowing the green light, but the real problem lies at the source:

The author. I'm sure we're all thinking that if Karpyshyn were to work on this like the previous 3 novels it wouldn't be great, but it'd be thousands of miles better than this refuse.

So one game (which is much larger in quantity) having a plot point you disagree with means it's okay for Deception to have this many flaws?

Instead, we're all united against Dietz's piece of crap novel.
