Okay, so the vorcha were a lore error?

How about "the subtle twinge of vertigo when the motion dampeners kick in"?  We did plenty of space travel in ME1 and nobody mentioned vertigo.  WTF BIOWARE

I see the point you're trying to make. I think the air kisses scenario would have been easier to accept had the rest of the mistakes not existed. But now every new element introduced in this book is going to be called into question.

Right, I can no longer tell the parody book quotes from the genuine ones.

Can somebody help me out?

That's the thing - they're all parody quotes.

Don't believe me about the "turrian rickshaw" sh*t? Well, here it is:

That forced Hendel to jog for a while, worried lest they look back and spot him, before hiring a conveyance of his own. It was a cart hitched to a rough-looking turian. “See that cab?” Hendel demanded. “Follow it. But stay back.”

If the ruffian between the traces was surprised by the order he gave no sign of it as he pulled Hendel through a maze of interconnecting streets. The ride continued for a good ten minutes before Hendel rounded a curve and saw the couple standing on a corner. Their cab was pulling away and had clearly been paid off.

“Keep going,” Hendel instructed. “Pass them, turn into the next side street, and stop.”

Speaking entirely for myself, the problem I see is that Asari air-kisses aren't actually a thing. Also, if they are a thing, they are one of the dumbest sounding things I've ever heard.

That's fine, Izmir, but "I think it's dumb" does not equal "an error in the writing".  I think the entire portrayal of Cerberus post ME1 is really dumb, but that doesn't make it an "error in Mass Effect 2".

Well the vorcha just didn't happen to exist in the places you went - it's like saying Japanese people are a reality error when one day you finally meet some. They're around, just maybe not around you.

And it makes sense to get a sense of vertigo when a vehicle of any kind starts... at least that's what happens for me.

Do you personally think that the phrase "asari-style air kisses" adds something of value to this book and the universe in general?

That's subjective, obviously you don't.

#4, the Lazarus Project rev'd Shepard.

Hence it being the least ridiculous and why it shouldn't even be brought up against Deception's transgressions.

Point taken. However when I brought it up I compared it with the apparently impossible batarian raid of Pavalen, not with the retconning of Gillian or Hendel.
We should make a distinction between things that contradicts canon and things that are unlikely. The raid to Pavalen is unlikely, but it doesn't contradict canon, so it shouldn't be grouped together with the other big errors.

No offense, but your suggesting that a Batarian raid on Pavalen is a plausible senario. The Turians made up the military backbone of the Citadel until humanity joined and stilll make up the majority of it, every Turian must enter the military at 15, and they have the largest fleet in Citadel space. The Batarian slavers wouldn't make it past the first outpost into the Turian home system before being whiped from the stars.:bandit:

But this isn't about some touching ritual. Dietz claiming that if two biotics get close together, there is some static crackling between them, which he calling asari air kisses. And in this static thing we seeing problem.

There's already a connection between biotics and static discharges.  What's the problem you're seeing?

There is connection between static and cats hair and I never saw my cats sparking. Problem is that Dietz exagerated something that Kahlee described as tingling, when she touching NIck.

BTW and I'm not sure about this, it's possible that two staticly charched things sparking between themsleves? Haven't be one positively and one negatively charged? If yes there must be positive and negatove biotics then.

But it doesn't make sense that two static electricity discharging fields when brought into certain contact could create a kind of static electricity discharge?

Right. Sure. That's why it's listed in the doc as not that important. So what's the problem? It's not one we're highliting. So why do you feel like you have to argue it?

The problem with much of the minor errors is not that they are impossible. It's that Dietz does not explain them at all. He just presents them as though they are established facts.

I did it! I finished Deception. It was funny to see the Invasion comic advert on last page (Kindle edition) of work that contradicts what happens in comic.

What comes to level of writing, it's even a bit worse than I expected after reading preview and lot's of spoilers. I didn't thought that was possible.

I need a sometime to recover but may post some sort of sum up later.

There's nothing wrong with biotic "air kisses". Societies and subcultures have all kinds of touching rituals and there's no reason to criticise Dietz for inventing one for biotics. If anything the books (all of them) should have had more stuff like this, should have explored the universe in ways that didn't involve running through corridors and shooting people.

But this isn't about some touching ritual. Dietz claiming that if two biotics get close together, there is some static crackling between them, which he calling asari air kisses. And in this static thing we seeing problem.

Plus, this never happens in game. If "asari air kissing" actually happened, then there would be little lightning storms going off when ever two asari were in the same room. There's a guy in the Kasumi DLC with two asari lounging on him. If air kissing happens, then that guy is going to feel like someone is hitting him with a tazer every five seconeds

Thessia must have never experience problems with electricity supply.

Oh, and love scene between majority of LI and biotic Shepard should be fun as well. "Shepard, I..." - zzang! - "...I'M SORRY, I'M SO SORRY!"
