Oh, for f***s sake....

“And they led me to what could be the Biotic Underground’s headquarters.”
“That’s huge,” Kahlee said. “What are we waiting for? Let’s go there.”
“Not so fast,” Hendel said. “The place is bound to be full of Level Three biotics all armed to the teeth. We wouldn’t stand a chance. Plus, if it’s there it’s behind a steel door inside a hill made out of solid rock.

So apparently Omega has f***ing hills all over the place.... how much you wanna bet that it's on Omega's "surface", to boot? :pinched:

Omega's got nice hills.

I think the rickshaw was on Omega, which raises more questions if it was.

Though I haven't read the entire scene in question.

Yes, the rickshaw bit is on Omega when Hendel is following Nick and his "girlfriend/fiancee".

The worst thing about following mentions of the book is when you see someone say something like "Just got ME: Deception. Looking forward to it..."

SINCE WHEN ARE THERE LEVELS?????

Since Dietz, apparently. L1, L2, L3, they've all been cast aside.

For Super Saiyan Biotic Levels.

Yeah, like Holly Conrad saying she was rushing to the book store.

Oh God.

Hills.

Inside of a space station.

I can understand that.

Except not.

There seem to be pairs of Asari standing together everywhere on Illium. I'll load up my save and see if I can see any air crackliing with static electricity.

While you're there, count the number of them receiving small static shocks from all the metal surfaces.  Oh, there aren't any?  BIOWARE WTF?

"Criticisms" like this are the reason this thread jumped the shark hundreds of pages ago.

@JamesFaith

You posted earlier that you are a writer. Would you help me with one thing?

Imagine Anderson and Mitra as FBI agents, replace Omega with, let's say Chicago and imagine Aria as local sheriff / police chief. Biotic Undergound and Grim Skulls as mafia.

Anderson and co. could as well be parent and uncle, tough and daring because they are veterans of WW I or WW II. Kahlee, well there has to be a female heroine too.

What you get?

EDIT: In Anderson & co. as parents Aria could be a crime boss.

We should make a distinction between things that contradicts canon and things that are unlikely. The raid to Pavalen is unlikely, but it doesn't contradict canon, so it shouldn't be grouped together with the other big errors.

No offense, but your suggesting that a Batarian raid on Pavalen is a plausible senario. [...]

Nope, I said it is unlikely, not plausible. What I'm really saying is that It doesn't contradicts canon and it shouldn't be put in the same level of Gillian growing out of her illness.

True, my apologies for the misquote. But a raid on Pavalen is just absured.

Again, do you understand how the document works? You keep harping on this one issue, that no one is emphasizing. It's not in any of the news articles that I've seen. We are not trying to make it sound like a huge error. So why do you care about this one tiny thing so much? We don't.

Added that hill thing to the Doc, that's just to silly to ignore.

I think that Dietz heard that Omega was built into an asteroid and assumed it was built on the surface... because of all the mentions of the surface and this ****.

I swear to god I've facedpalmed more in the last few days than I have the last few months.

On a separate note regards the levels in biotics. Isn't it that their strength is pretty much their natural cap, it's not something they can raise or lower, they just get better at using that power through training? Like a young Asari just learning how to wield biotics wouldn't stand up to the techniques and discipline of say Samara? Who's had centuries of training and experience.

Or even Jack; but you can see what Cerberus screwing with her biotic power did to her.

I can't get the image out of my head that the Biotic Underground thought they were being clever by building their hideout into a hill made of rock... that they put inside of a space station. ****ING INCONSPICUOUS.

It's pretty much the equivalent of Somali pirates striking a NATO task group to take prisoners....not even Somali pirates are desperate or stupid enough to do that.

Yeah, everyone has a natural 'reservoir' or whatever of biotic power that better implants and amps, along with the proper training, can allow them to access - you can become more skilled at accessing this 'reservoir', but you can't increase its size.

Biotics have varying amounts of power, but its their amps that help them raise it.

Like Vanguards in ME1 being L3's, but in ME2 being upgraded to L5n's.
