I wonder what Dietz's reply is to all this negative feedback over the ME:Deception book. I'm certainly pissed it turned out the way it did.
If I found out where Dietz lived I would steal all his cereal and ****** in his vases.

We had talk of a fan audiobook getting uploaded earlier. How's that going?
First I've heard of this since I've been away, but I would totally sign up for it! I don't have a good voice or mic but that low quality would perfectly match the tone of the book!
Let's stay civil know. We want to focus our anger on the book not the man.DecrepitBlade wrote...

Heck, I'm getting tempted to upload a review - in the form of another Wrex rap.
As for Dietz's response: he liked the book, says he's proud of it

It's pretty much made not to have to add the few dying characters to ME3.
A few factors removed that the writers didn't want to deal with with Drew gone, I guess.

We should get Tommy Waiso to do the voice of Kai Leng or the narrator.

Well it looks like my streaming stuff is working fine, audio quality's poorer than I would like - but there doesn't seem to be any noise-canceling but it's manageable.

Since Gillian wasn't supposed to get back till 2187, why bother to mention anything at all. They could just have left it all alone.

This. This story, as it is, didn't need to be told and accomplished precisely nothing.
None of these caracter's deaths are meaninful in any way, nor are the things they do. It seems this book was solely created to kill everyone off in order for them to not influence future works. Or worse.
As someone who loves said characters, this book is an atrocity.

But what's stupid is that we didn't need a book just to kill off those characters.
They could have done a number of things. For one, Nick's story could have ended in Retribution. It's not like we needed to know what happened to him.
We could have simply never learned what happened to Gillian. Maybe nothing more then just a reference in ME3 from Sanders that "She's probably somewhere with the Quarians. I hope she's alright". And that's it.
Or an even better story would have involved the Idenna being attacked and destroyed by something, forcing Gillian in an escape pod, and then forced on the run from Cerberus again. Instead of a revenge plot that goes nowhere.
They didn't have to involve Anderson, Nick, Sanders, Aria, and Sanders if they weren't going to use them, beyond exposition and death.

I know, but we don't want to get to the point where we're using personal attacks or trying to humiliate him.DecrepitBlade wrote...

But the man is a part of the formula, Bioware said hey write our book, he said okay, and out of utter lack of knowledge of actual lore, we ended up with a novel that is awful, also Volus not wearing fully enclosed helms, I call shenanigans.
