Are there any pics of Kai Leng yet? I want to photoshop a cereal box and Captain Anderson gasping into it and also a caption saying "Gimme Dat Cereal". Would be an awesome avatar. :)

Too late :D

But you're certainly welcome to try. I think there's a hi-res Leng in the "25 concept arts" thread on this very board. Look it up.

Not to mention Roflchoppaz's avatar and

I hadn't seen that xD

Oh geez. The vase:lol:

Not to mention the toothbrush  :P

Wonder when Bioware going realize, we are all getting tired of the half ass **** they keep putting out of late. It's like they just don't care anymore.

I for one had no major issues with ME2, any of its DLC or even "Invasion", which I ended up liking quite a bit.

Not all of us hate everything BioWare is releasing lately. Many of us simply hate "Deception". :P

He seems like a fitting candidate for the infamous "I never asked for this." line Fiery Phoenix likes to quote endlessly. :wizard:

I had every intention of picking up Deception today, along with Redemption Volume 1 and a Normandy replica. As much as I hate missing out on anything related to ME, I won't be buying this novel. I refuse to regard it as canon despite anything BW may say to the contrary. I've been following this thread since the 128 page mark, intermittently anyway. It's hard to keep track when you see 50 new pages each day. I just want to express my gratitude to everyone that has put their time into keeping this thread alive and for managing the Google doc. Seeing such a unified response over a franchise we all care about is to be applauded.

What isn't awesome about sneaking into your foe's home and eating his Krogan Krunch?

It's positively dastardly!!!!

I don't hate anything except Deception. DLC was all great, books are great. Comics are hit or miss, but aren't really offensively bad. Art is nice. Only have the one problem with the ME franchise so far, and this is it.

Exactly, I don't even blame bioware for this, I blame whoever at bioware is in charge of farming out stuff.

Kai Leng is Adam Jensen...? They do look kinda same. Shades and everything. And...

Oh god... all those cereal boxes in Adam's apartment... it all makes... sense... now... :/

This book just needs too be recalled and scraped from existence. I hope ME3 wont have some mistakes like those.

You know, for a super-seekret assassin, Kai Leng gets his blood pumping in the... oddest ways.

Break into house. Plant gadgets. EAT CEREAL.

What else? Spreading chunky peanut butter onto toast? Leaving the toilet lid up (when he chooses to use one, instead of a handy vase)? Jaywalking?

It's a cry for help. He secretly hates TiM, and his job. He's just asking to get caught. Really, he just wants to go home. Poor Kai Leng.

Think about it. Act-it-cool dude with shades and cyber-enhancements, master assassin, works for an organization sworn to the advancement of humanity...

Oh, I see what you did there Bioware/Eidos/Dietz. You sneaky lot.

Bioware is doing just fine.

It's the **** they hand out to other people that gets lame, fast. Like this book, and the comics, though the latter is at least decent.

He really just wants to eat some cereal and apple juice, and take a nap while someone reads him a story...

Id agree with that. I still have very high hopes for ME3, its just cant stand for this novel and the effects it may have on canon if Bioware dont step up and resolve this debacle.
