The one thing that would make this thing worth reading would be a "Not ME3 related, LOCKDOWN" halfway through because the lore is so badly handled.

Followed by the book disintegrating in your hands.
I'd buy the book then.

Could you check if Aria really forgot that she is a biotic?

Once I start reading, I believe I'll post findings in here. Don't worry =)

Happy reading, Beauty.

The boyfriend I used to have here took note of what he thought and dubbed my alternative online handle 'DaBeauty', but please, *cough* it's just 'Kidd' to you ;)

Now I want to do just that. I could do with some worshipping after all

Oh, and didymos, you referenced more than once now that Drew's novels had another great mistake besides canonizing the human council member. Which mistake was it? I don't exactly remember all the details from the other books, so if I caught it at the time I don't remember anymore. Maybe I should go and read them again to purge myself from this... thing. You can reply via a PM if you don't want to post spoilers here. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]

I'm not didy, but one mistake I remember is how Kahlee is told about the Reapers in one book but then forgets all about it. She's so surprised when she's told about them the second time in the next book, yet uh, didn't she know already? =)

Hmmm, yeah, that might be it.

Damn, now I really have to go and re-read these things. At least it'll make the pain from reading this one go away, and not make me so desperate until Mass Effect 3 gets home. :P

I just glanced through the book a bit, flipped the pages. Is there a single sentence in this book that is more than 7 words long? It didn't seem like it. "He did this. Then he did that. He was happy. He smiled. That was good. The apartment was dirty. It smelled too. He thought he would clean it up. But he couldn't be arsed."

I'm suprised, no one mentioned that killing order on Gillian by TIM.

"Kai, teenager girl between 16 nad 18 want to kill me? (litting tube of tabacco) That's bad, that's really bad. (filling lungs with smoke) Girls in this age are very dangerous, dating with vampires and such...  (blowing stream of smoke)  What if she suceeded, where human Alliance, STG, turian's army and asari commandos failed? (tapping ash to tray) What if this lonely post-autistic girl with no resources really find me and kill me? (smoking, smoking, smoking)  My God, Kai, you must kill her! Hurry, donť hesitate! And keep me informed about other teenagers, they are very insidious creatures."

Rest in peace, our beloved strategist TIM. Posted Image

Also, I spent billions turning her into the future of human Biotics. Now don't try to capture her, just kill her. Also, don't take a team like you did to capture Grayson. Just go by yourself. I'm sure that will work out great.

" "You called for me"
The Illusive Man loved how Leng didn't bother with unnecessary banter."

Leng was tired. He had been up a long time. Humans did not like this. They could only handle it so long. Their brains would simply give up. But Leng was smarter than that. He would survive. He would take a nap. "Take that, exhaustion," Kai Leng said. He was proud. He had conquered tiredness.

Very solid work on trying to get the sentence structure down. Also, as you know.

Yeah, it would've been a 5 stars attempt if not for that detail. :D

I have to agree that while Drew's novels weren't award-winning stuff they were fast-paced and interesting. They're just the sort of things that fans of the Mass Effect universe would want in a book... but this... this is just a mockery of a shadow.

They were a scruffy-looking bunch who wore face paint, were dressed in mismatched pieces of armor, and rode power skates. They were called the Lightnings and were known for their hit-and-run-style robberies.

Huh...wha...er.......WHAT!? So, Dietz's Omega is basically like being in an unusually violent episode of the 60s Batman series, is what I'm taking away from this. Just.....wow. Power. Skates.

On Dietz's "space station" Omega is shanty towns, wild dogs, rats and cars and limos. Some power skates can't suprise me.  Posted Image

Yep. There's a scene with Kai Leng where a dog is barking and someone is starting a car.
