I wonder if we'll get a response by Friday, otherwise it won't come till Monday, if at all.
I do not know if you are aware of this, but Harbinger is Assuming Direct Control of your avatar.
Just... thought maybe you would want to know.

You're not alone. Don't feel that way. Find positivity in negativity. We're all together working to get the drivel disavowed from the Mass Effect Franchise's lore.
As I was saying earlier, it's actually really something to see the whole community coming together for once.
That and I consider this a joint operation. I never felt it was just us doing this, or that I'm leading everyone ever against this.
Its the Bioware Social Network working with The Mass Effect Wikia guys.
And together we're making a hell of a lot of noise.
Certainly are making noise!.
To me it also shows that this community wants to fight to uphold the quality and continuity of the universe that Bioware have worked so hard to create.

Call it a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book like the old Goosebumps novels I used to read as a kid.
*If Gillian still has autism, turn to page 17, if Gillian lost her autism turn to page 89*

OH GOD, is this book even in German? Can you imagine what a mess the translation must be if there is?
Nope, Deception has not yet been translated. "Mass Effect: Blendwerk" (that's what the German version will be called) will not be released before February 13th.

well it maybe a crap novel but it maybe good for toilet paper because it will show just how much you think about the novel.
That would be like wiping your ass with more ****, though.
Gross.

I don't know about everyone else but if Bioware just said "We goofed, we are sorry. We will enact measures to assure it won't happened again. The books isn't canon(except in broadstrokes if they desire)" I wouldn't need anything else or try to 'punish' Bioware further by more complaining or refusal to buy future products. But the silence is starting to tick me off.
I more or less agree.

I pity the translator, gonna be hard to make sense of this book.

That would be a good outcome. We could all move on.

Again, its only been a couple of days. They still need to deliberate and decide what they're going to do about all this.

No I want it nao!
Yeah I know I still wish they were a little more nimble, they know this has been coming for a whole week now. Maybe not the full extent but they started to have inklings.

Yeah, they knew about the reaction before the book came out, but now its exploded.
You have to understand that them coming out admitting they made a mistake is bad PR as well as good PR-
Good PR- We'd all thank them for admitting they messed up and made the book non-canon
Bad PR- Admitting they messed up right before the release of ME3 is gonna worry everyone
So they have to handle this precisely, correctly, and delicately, otherwise everything goes to hell.

I just heard from the disaster and the list of around 60 mistakes. After it's been written by the author, isn't someone checking this stuff before it gets released in stores?

Join the effor to make it non-canon. We want this novel disavowed from the lore.

Better.
At least that way it's only a colossal waste, as opposed to a titanic one.

I don't think we have to worry about that. We literally DON'T have to fight for it because thats something Bioware can decide on their own.

We damn well better make sure they know we don't want him doing future installments, though. Better not leave them with the impression that we think he can "do better next time". He had one shot too many already.
