And together we're making a hell of a lot of noise.

Certainly are making noise!. 

  To me it also shows that this community wants to fight to uphold the quality and continuity of the universe that Bioware have worked so hard to create.

Call it a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book like the old Goosebumps novels I used to read as a kid.

I don't know about everyone else but if Bioware just said "We goofed, we are sorry. We will enact measures to assure it won't happene again. The book isn't canon(except in broadstrokes if they desire)" I wouldn't need anything else or try to 'punish' Bioware further by more complaining or refusal to buy future products. But the silence is starting to tick me off.

Yeah I know I still wish they were a little more nimble, they know this has been coming for a whole week now.  Maybe not the full extent but they started to have inklings.

I just heard from the disaster and the list of around 60 mistakes. After it's been written by the author, isn't someone checking this stuff before it gets released in stores?
Hope they don't keep that **** canon.

Yeah I know I still wish they were a little more nimble, they know this has been coming for a whole week now.  Maybe not the full extent but they started to have inklings.

Yeah, they knew about the reaction before the book came out, but now its exploded.

You have to understand that them coming out admitting they made a mistake is bad PR as well as good PR-

Good PR- We'd all thank them for admitting they messed up and made the book non-canon
Bad PR- Admitting they messed up right before the release of ME3 is gonna worry everyone

So they have to handle this precisely, correctly, and delicately, otherwise everything goes to hell.

I don't think we have to worry about that. We literally DON'T have to fight for it because thats something Bioware can decide on their own.

We damn well better make sure they know we don't want him doing future installments, though. Better not leave them with the impression that we think he can "do better next time". He had one shot too many already.
