Why is everything being made into an anime nowadays?

Another random entry:

Anderson was dreaming. It was a nice dream, or would have been except for the klaxon that was bleating. Then a hand touched his arm and he awoke. “David,” Kahlee said. “David . . . Pick up the handset. It could be important.”

For those that don't know what a klaxon is, it's a siren that was made back less than a century ago and used to be popular on police cars:
Dietz must also really love them, cause he has klaxons sounding everywhere on Omega...

...Of course, after Deception, I'm not sure I trust anyone to write a story for ME other than Bioware itself...

This whole thing is their fault to begin with.

Well yes, but I doubt internal writers would do such a bad job. At least the thing would likely be readable and probably wouldn't contain such glaring errors. The story and blatant writing out of characters would probably still be there, but I would hope internal writers care about their own IP. If not, ME3 should, by all rights, suck.

The author of My Immortal didn't get any money for it.

Dietz did.

...good point. :crying:

At least the sex scenes in My Immortal are better:  "And then he put his thingy in my you-know-what and we did it."

Seriously.

Certain types of game's and books transfer better to the CGI or anime mediums, than they do to live action. Despite the ability to put just about anything in the movies there is a disconnect between the brain and the movie about what it expects to be plausible.

Basically, the willing suspension of disbelief is higher during an anime. At least from what I've observed.

Its why I'm so afraid for the ME movie.

For a second there, I thought he had wrote a klixen into that dream. Because seriously, a klixen bleating has got to be one of the best mental images ever.

Then I read your explanation and all fun was lost.

*sigh*

I would actually prefer my science-fiction be done by the guys who made the Dead Space film.

Live-action would cost way too much and if a film can't be done properly then I'd happily prefer a series.

This is all assuming that my science-fiction gets popular enough to warrant that kind of attention...

Yeah, I can't really say I'm excited for it. I've been let down with video game movies too much. Honestly with the proper budget ME is grounded enough to make a good movie. There's not much too over the top that wouldn't be workable on the screen if handled correctly.

But they are never handled correctly.

"Snake and Loopin were in da middle of da empty hall, doin it, and Dobby was watching![/i]"

Ye have received. I still say this is better than the scenes in Deception.

On a side note, talked to Xeltan in ME1 after going to Sha'ira so I can't get the trinket. Makes me almost feel as bad as knowing that this book was allowed to be released. No, that's a lie. It's nowhere near as bad but just makes me a little sad. :(

You know what was a good video game live action movie?

The mini-movie Assassin's Creed: Lineage.

Thing is, that's a lot easier to craft than a live action movie.

Or for Dietz, a GOOD AND SENSIBLE NOVEL.

If they can't even watch over a novel like this, what does that say about the oversight for a movie or game?

I don't think I watched that one. I did watch Embers however.

The ending... :crying:

Did the same thing in my playthrough, I just re-loaded.

Just finished up on Feros. Trying out rolling with 3 squadmate pairs equally.
