For one, give someone at Bioware a couple days to actually read the book so they can respond-crunch time and all...... :/
Two-So who is still looking forward to the movie tie in? lol
This book tells me the movie is gonna blow massively.
The Hollywood Production... Hell no
the Animie Movie... That I looking forward too... Toei and Funanimation have sense the a Hollywood studio does not.
Wish they would make a CGI movie, like the SWTOR intro movies. That would be brilliant, but no anime...god no. Did you see how crap the Dragon Age one looks? lol :')

You know what was a good video game live action movie?
The mini-movie Assassin's Creed: Lineage.
Thing is, that's a lot easier to craft than a live action movie.
Or for Dietz, a GOOD AND SENSIBLE NOVEL.

...Of course, after Deception, I'm not sure I trust anyone to write a story for ME other than Bioware itself...
Well yes, but I doubt internal writers would do such a bad job. At least the thing would likely be readable and probably wouldn't contain such glaring errors. The story and blatant writing out of characters would probably still be there, but I would hope internal writers care about their own IP. If not, ME3 should, by all rights, suck.

I ain't either, but I don't blame people that do think like this, despite being two completely different teams.LPPrince wrote...

I'm not, but I wouldn't blame people for feeling that way now.
Hell, my stepbrother feels that way. He's less excited for ME3 due to Deception.

They really should have thought this through better before releasing it.

I knew books could be powerful but Deception has me feeling almost jaded towards Mass Effect 3 but especially towards BioWare. Hoping the demo will bring back that excitement.LPPrince wrote...

The fake sunshine had started to fade as a computer somewhere began to dim the lights for the comfort of races that were diurnal or nocturnal and still required alternating periods of light in order to get sufficient rest. So as the women followed an ancient sluiceway west, all sorts of lights and signs began to blink on. There were shadows, lots of them, which gave predators a place to hide. Gillian knew that and couldn’t help but feel a sense of concern.

At least it isn't as bad as the hills of Omega, right?
