Avatar: the Last Airbenber was written for children and that is 10x exponetailly  smarter than his... I don't  WTF Deception is.  I bet right now  if turn on CN, the HUB, Nicktoons,  or ToonDisney I would find a kid show that is smarter than Deception... matter of fact. 

I could hand this book to my little Nephew that is 4 years old...

and go...

The one thing about the whole book is that it would not have been that bad if it had been something else . . . But a ME story . . .but a new piece of fiction. . . With that being said BW can still bounce back from the whole thing . . . By doing another book a continuation that made Deceptions whole story nothing but a dream by one of the characters maybe Gillian. . . .think about it they do out in comix books all the time and on TV . . . Not sure if ppl remember Dallas but Bobby was killed one season and came back another season by way of a dream . . . .his wife had dreamt his whole murder. . . All soap operas do it. . . So why not for this case

You know what, maybe Dietz just thought that since the asari were monogendered, or human, that it wasn't actually retconning his homosexuality. Although, I know I am giving the author too much credit

I'm going to give this book to my local library or something.

It's not going on my shelf near Revelation, Ascension & Retribution. BioWare, what the hell is wrong with you. Why can't you atleast double check the books so they aren't filled with so much BS?

Quality control anyone? Heard of that BioWare? Heard of Quality Control? You know? That magical thingymajig?

This I do not agree with. This book is terrible. It's poorly written, the characters act like morons, and the story has no purpose. If this was not a Mass Effect book, sure I wouldn't care so much about it. But it would still be garbage, and I would still be baffled as to how Dietz recieves money to produce works of this level of quality.

Oh it would have still been  bad... 

I would have just  not have given a single damn about it.. thats all.

What even funnier is that its the truth ... he is a smart little guy he may not conext for  it but he could see the errors in book with writing....though I would get on him about a potty mouth but  considering  he watches sports with two rather fouled mouth sports fans...

Then the possibilty of the smaller  pieces growing  and infecting other things with its stupidity is greater and there is enough stupid in the world. I hate to say  it but it needs to be destoried...uttterly and completely.  This is the only way to be sure it does  reproduce and make more.

I find his general fetishization of the asari incredibly creepy. I don't think there's a man in this book with more than 5 lines who doesn't ogle/check out/fantasize/flirt with an asari. I find it seriously disturbing.
