I wish some people had Chef Ramsey dedication to their craft... he demands nothing but excellence. Not only from himself but from the people around him as well...sometimes you  have to be a hard ass get crap done.

I would like him to know... I can come with my own fantasies about Aria  and they will be alot less creepy  than what, he thinks, I think when looking at an Asari...

Out of these options, I hope that it's (4), because option (1) (2) and (3) do not bode well for the future of the company (or at least the future of its products).

In fact, Leng had a sneaking hunch that she made at least part of her living putting suckers in their place. But it was too late for Hobbs to back out, so when Leng said “Go!” the other man put everything he had into forcing Nefari’s arm down. But it was a wasted effort. Nefari’s arm was like a steel bar. She smiled beatifically as Hobbs’s face turned red.

It could be, but it still makes my skin crawl.

I used to work part time in a hotel bar, and I know the type: the guys who sit in a dark corner, sipping a soft drink or a glass of water, checking out women like they're really delicious sirloin stakes they want to sink their teeth into...

We will never hear that explanation. Just like we will never find out why the highly successful composers of mass effect 2, at least one of whom had started composing a theme for mass effect 3, were suddenly off the job. You can substitute "Letting Jack Wall/Sam Hulick go" for "contents of Deception" above and the same questions, choices, as well as your reply, still apply.

HA Dietz does this quite a lot - using all sorts of mildly archaic words in his fragmented prose. It's silly when he tries to flex his vocab muscles in the middle of fragments and run-ons

I swear, sometimes I think Deitz just grabbed a few words here and there from a thesaurus and uses them just to show that he knows a few " Big Words" (cause the prose for the rest of the novel read's like sh*t)

 I can accept that a little bit more  than this.. . because  they made an upgrade with Clint Marsell... While Jack and Sam are good ... they are not Clint Marsell.  This through is  a down grade... this  equal to trading say Tom Brady for  Ryan Leaf.

You see what I mean? His way of wording things breaks flow and is so jarring you get taken out of it. You shouldn't make much of an effort to read a book, just as you shouldn't in a movie or game or anything else. This is basic stuff.

Mr. Dietz, you're doing it wrong.

Apples Newest Software ... iAuthor..  endorsed by WIlliam C. Deitz.  See all you  have to do is  set the program to english,  the gerne to sci-fi, select shuffle and hit create and there is a  Sci-fi novel ready publication. 


Honesty I should not direspect  Mr. Jobs like that.....

My roommate (huge Halo fan, we have wars over which is better regularly) said that he didn't like The Flood, that it was weird. He wasn't really descriptive beyond that, though.

I woke up with a pounding headache this morning and didn't go to class. I blame Deception...

Yeah, um, I kinda doubt Gillian demonstrated much when she was an infant, which is how old she was when given to Paul Grayson.  Hell, she was barely demonstrating biotic abilities when she was twelve.  The incident with the singularity was remarkable for more than one reason.
