I swear, sometimes I think Deitz just grabbed a few words here and there from a thesaurus and uses them just to show that he knows a few " Big Words" (cause the prose for the rest of the novel read's like sh*t)
It could have been worse, you know.
The worlds could be "dazzle" or "sparkle".

Has anyone read Dietz Hitman book or Halo :the flood books . . .and if so what are your thoughts?
I read Halo The Flood. For some bizzar reason, Dietz decided to include this side story about an ODST seargent who really hated the Master Cheif becasue some ***hole was killed by the Cheif in a fight and wanted to bring back a covenant carrier with flood back to earth:?. A giant deseret battle that has nothing to do with the cheif or is ever mentioned in the first game.
In conclusion, all the stuff that followed the Cheif were okay and the stuff that Dietz made up bar Key's infection bits sucked.

Wait heard he did a Halo book... that was equally as terrible but he did a Hitman book.![]()
What the helll did Agent 47 do to deserve that?
My roommate (huge Halo fan, we have wars over which is better regularly) said that he didn't like The Flood, that it was weird. He wasn't really descriptive beyond that, though.
I woke up with a pounding headache this morning and didn't go to class. I blame Deception...
He was most likely in shock and traumatized after reading it - so much so that he most like had to cut himself off from the exeprience till he could, if ever deal with it.

I listened to the dark forces ones as audio books I think. They weren't good but I suffered through them to find out the backstory of Kyle Katarn. They didn't jump out at me as terrible at the time but they were definitly no more than mediocre.nitefyre410 wrote...

I knew there was something he did that I liked. Dark Forces is awesome. The whole series that spawned was epic.

Also pretty sure sim clubs are just fancy arcades for the future. That's the impression I got.
I'm glad someone got it...because I didn't.
I envisioned something like the flight line simulator room at my University.

Don't worry about story, characters, integrity and plot when we've got cool explosions and awesome oozing from everything!
Thank you to all of you who saved me the money for buying it or the time it might take to convince a friend to buy it so I could borrow it. I don't even think I'll go to the library for it.

Leng watched with interest as Gillian described the first part of the voyage on the Idenna, followed by the battle with the batarians, and the freeing of the slaves. Anderson and Kahlee were clearly fascinated. But McCann seemed to be nervous. Why? He knew how the story would end after all— which was happily for him. Or was there something more? Something McCann hadn’t told Gillian? Yes, Leng thought to himself, Hal is in a jam.
