More random snippets of bullsh*t from this "novel":

Leng watched with interest as Gillian described the first part of the voyage on the Idenna, followed by the battle with the batarians, and the freeing of the slaves. Anderson and Kahlee were clearly fascinated. But McCann seemed to be nervous. Why? He knew how the story would end after all— which was happily for him. Or was there something more? Something McCann hadn’t told Gillian? Yes, Leng thought to himself, Hal is in a jam.

Is this for real? Was this thing really just a first draft? Dear BioWare, there are hundreds of amazing (and admittedly not so amazing) writers who submit non-beta'd work that is far superior just in structure than this is. Stop going out through agents for 'professional' writers who only care about the paycheck and seek out the diamonds in the rough like Kudara who as taken the mess that is the plot of ME2 and made it simply amazing.

There are a lot of incredibly talented writers on FF.net that could have done this story justice.

Here it is www.fanfiction.net/s/5768891/1/Who_Saves_the_Hero

Phenominal work. Female Shepard and is very woman empowering which I hope won't scare you off. Deals with Shepard's death, Cerberus, the events on Horizon, the Prothean Cypher and all kinds of things that just work brilliantly in my opinion. Unfinished but it is currently a VERY long read.

Another gem from Deception "Leng was still in the process of absorbing that news when he heard a clang as something landed on the metal roof of the structure to his right. That was followed by a rattling sound. He grabbed hold of Kim and jerked her back. 'Grenade!'
It was a grenade."

Okay after hours research  we have discovered... that it was a Gerenade.

Did he really spell Gerenade wrong? then right, then not correct  previous mispelling.

Interesting, the first is a quote from Retribution and the second is from Deception.

Anderson tried to fight back as the gun slipped from his suddenly nerveless fingers by bringing his knee up toward Kai Leng’s groin. But he blocked the move by turning his hips so the blow only struck him in the meat of his thigh.

McCann raised his left hand, and Leng blocked the downward blow, but took a knee in the crotch. Or would have except he turned his hips at the last moment and took the blow on his right thigh.

Grenade is the right spelling for that word. Dietz may not be a prime author, but he does know how to spell that.

/Deitz
I read two of the three Star Wars books back in school. I was .. in 5th grade, I think. It was a looong time ago. I, even then, thought the books were simplistic and didn't make a whole lot of sense in the Star Wars universe. But I did like the Dark Forces and Jedi Knight games. So I was interested in reading about Kyle Katarn.

I'm not 100% on which all came first there now that I think about it, but I'm pretty sure Dark Forces 2:Jedi knight had already been released, or at least announced.

However, I do remember wanting to read the last book. To finish the story. But I never spent any effort to try and find it. But I read them. They were OK. Not anything I would've recommended to anyone else.

Interesting is a good word, looks almost like and c+p with just a little word replacement.

But he can't  do basic math.... Okkkkaaaayy.

Though my spelling joke backfired in  horrid fashion... his grasp of 2nd   grade  math... does not fail me.

I like how McCann RAISED his left hand, but Leng is blocking his DOWNWARD blow. Was one of them standing on their head?
