Jeez, if you're going to burn a book, at least film it and explain WHY.
Dang.
Hm, now that you mention it, I do have my camera lying around here somewhere. Guess I'll put it on YouTube or something.
The explanation's the important part.

They could have fixed it up to be less obviously crap in about 3 days of editorial work.
Replace some phrases, add some content, add the goddamn missing commas... you know.
I understand you but in this case it means rewrite 80% of book.

I'm not defending him, or claiming that the book is a misunderstood masterpiece. I'm just saying that a lot of errors could have been avoided, if Bioware had put a little more effort into proof reading the thing.
Yeah, I guess I can't argue with that. It's pretty frustrating, especially with those tweets form Casy Hudson that were dug up this morning.

Finished my final review of the #MassEffect Deception novel. A really fun lead-in to #ME3! Kai Leng is a badass. January 31 release.
I refuse to believe he actually read it. It had to be someone who is subordinate to him though.

Is he serious!!! I know I'm still going to read the whole thing even if it was horrible. And then give a honest review.

Or a quarian. My first impression was that it's just incorrectly written clan name - Mythra'Zon sounds similar to Daro'Xen, - but then I remembered that Dietz doesn't use clan names.didymos1120 wrote...

It most certainly is. I found that one a few days ago. Nick has a dream about "making love" as well.
To an asari who has a name better suited to a volus, no less.
Anyways, asari with second word in name, be it last name or place of birth, are rare. Majority of them in game are named simply "Erynia" or "Seryna". Moreover, most of syllables in their name are open.

That's their job, I mean they're the editors. The book is already written, rewriting it to make it prettier or at least grammatically in tact is an easier job for someone with the necessary vocabulary and knowledge of language, than writing a whole book from scratch.

I cannot imagine that your honest review of the whole thing will be any more positive then my honest review of the third of it that I have read.

It truly is questionable whether or not that was really Casey, considering he should be more busy with Mass Effect 3's development than the reviews of books. Personally I find it has to be either someone else or him just bull****ting so these books will freaking sell. Either way, if the fans could notice these errors, you bet that the mastermind behind Mass Effect must've spotted them miles away.

I don't expect a masterpiece. But yeah I would like to show people I actually read the whole thing and proove how good or bad it is.

No, she's definitely an asari. There's a rapturous passage about the effect of her voodoo sex mojo on Nick. What makes it funnier is that someone mentioned that he later starts calling her "Von", which absolutely is a volus name.

Well it's like the tweet the other day that a bunch of use responded to. Just Bioware guys trying to be good employees and promote the thing. But pointing people to the excerpts is not a way to promote it. It's a way to kill it even before it launches.

I'm not going to post the whole thing, there are too many things listed. All I can say is The Flood should have warned someone of this guys skill as a writer.
The Flood was a divine work of art compared to this.
Oh geez, that bad? That book had spelling boo boos....

No, it is. It's just from August, so you need to do some scrolling.
