Someone started typing a bunch of juvenile garbage and then deleted everything. Unfortunately for their jollies, we had it all backed up. Actually, several of us (not myself, admittedly, but still) had it backed up. So yeah, bam.

From what I can gather, I wasn't in the tab at the time, someone was using quite a bit of vulgar language, and at some point the entirety of the document was erased - I came in as people were posting in a near-empty document and changed the permissions and restored it.

Yeah, Google Docs is pretty good at backing itself up relatively often, but it doesn't hurt for there to be a few copies floating around offline - I'll probably at least keep a daily version on my hard drive.

Just to let you guys know I've finished recording and am in the process of uploading to YouTube. Due to my crappy speaking and the length of the video, I've cut it down to segments with annotation translations along with a fitting song for the video. I'll inform you all when it's made public.

Can we just pretend this story never happened? Let's pretend Gillian and Hendal are still on an exploration mission with the quarians when ME3 launches. And, uh Nick went home after retribution (being shot and all) and yeah. All is well with the mass effect universe

You know, rather than ignoring it happened, judging by the reaction...I'd say it's more likely this book was, rather than a story, an experiment on if it is possible to unify the internet on anything other than copyright bills.

The amusing thing is that, at the start, the guy was just trolling. He wrote in "44. Too many hamburgers."

Little did he know that that was actually a valid criticism of the book, as Kai Leng goes to a Beggar King for a quick bite before he gets captured. I pointed that out, and he went into full on rage mode, deleting/screwing with previous entries, amending "Ugho serves as Caption..." to "Ugho is a f*g" along with other things.

So yeah, you literally cannot troll this novel. If you think of something clever, chances are Dietz is already one step ahead of you.

This is what we are doing, yes.

I haven't read any of the leak, but I assume at some point in ME3 Shep goes back to the quarian fleet. It's gonna be weird if they aren't there. Granted Shep may very well not go to the Idenna... but it will be weird if none of the Quarians mention 2 humans wandering around on their ships.
