Did Gillian really say she "grew up" from autism?
This is pretty much the only reference:
She had been a very unstable twelve year-old when they first met
[quoteAnd she had grown as well, both as a person and a biotic, although she still had a tendency to lose her temper.
I guess that is what happened when she almost killed everyone at the academy. She LOST HER TEMPER.

Because autism is just a wee bit of instability.

Somehow this girl who has been either stuck in a private school on a space station or trapped on a Quarian exploration ship in deep space, has had time to visit plent of restaurants. Enough so that Hendel know what sort she prefers.
Also, in case some people missed this, there is a ghetto on the Citadel called Hu-Town.
Must have had horten hears a who in the background when he wrote that part.

The way Gillian was described in Ascension, I could never imagine her living like she does in Deception. Some people can overcome minor forms of autism to an extent, but her case was extremely severe. You can't just recover from that.

I also got the faboulus chance to actually e-mail dietz. He said he may have made a couple mistakes ":)" and has read the three prior books. Plus he said that the book was reviewed by two high level bioware employees.

The janitor very much enjoyed the book. He doesn't know much about science fiction, but he found it easy to understand and very relatable.
The intern from the mail room, who doesn't read books much, also though highly of his writing.

I don't. That seems so beyond impossible. To believe that is to believe that it's time to cancel my ME3 pre-orders.

Yep. Thats what he told me. I'm only starting to get the jest of how awful this book will be for me. I hope it won't ruin my week once I get it on tuesday. I'll only being think about Mass Effect then. Well good thing I don't have my hopes up for stuff like this.
Apparently he likes smileys he put a lot of them in the response.

You yourself know that Casey thought Kai Leng was a Bad Ass in the this story.

He had black hair and brown eyes that harkened back to his Chinese ancestry. But the shape of his face and the color of his skin hinted at what might have been some Slavic DNA as well.
Wow. Slavic DNA, eh? Sounds exciting.
Also, that doesn't really feel like the right use of the word harkened.

Wouldn't the correct word be 'Harked'?

The Idenna's navigation went down during their voyage, causing it to slip into a black hole. Lost in the darkness, a wizard with level 10 biotics happened upon them in his search through time for a KFC, and removed her autism and hendels attraction to men.
After coming out of the blackhole, they had aged dramatically.
