LOL, every time someone asks to know the ending, they get a negative opinion of it.
And how!
From the ending summaries people have just sent me (thanks by the way) and all the other errors, I cannot fathom how this got made. Bioware seriously need to make this bollocks non-canon ASAP.

But featuring Gillian, Hendel and Nick (not to mention Kahlee and Anderson) from the other novels, and completely butchering their characterisations and stoylines, just made me really bitter about the whole thing.
That's two or three of Karpyshyn's books that are, plot-wise, now basically pointless. They have no relevance. Every story thread and character conflict they contained has ended.

So this book is essentially Batman and Robin to Burton's Batman/Batman Returns?
I'd actually say it's worse, since Robin, Alfred and commissioner Gordan would have needed to be killed off in ridiculously retarded ways for it to be more like this book.

I think Bioware should just cancel the release of the book and scrap it entirely. Pretend it never happened. Pretend it was all a bad dream... Then apologise publicly for being wet behind the ears and not copyediting it properly.
Oh hey Gem. Linked here by me on facebook, hey now.

It wouldn't have even been so bad if Dietz had been commissioned to write a new book based on his own characters and another ME setting.

Butchered entirely. Its abysmally depressing.

That's not actually a line from the novel. But the novel's writing is so bad, people can't tell the fake lines from the real ones.
Yes, its THAT. BAD.

Is that actually in it?lol I can no longer tell when people are just cracking jokes at the expense of the book or if they are actually being serious.

This is why I dont liek teh extended media for Mass Effect.
The thing is, the previous books were pretty good. Not genre-defying Booker prize material, but enjoyable.
This thought...
It's like you're having a four-course meal, and after three good, if a little bland, courses the waiter comes in with portions of s**t for all and then is asks you to pay extra for them.
Edited because spelling > me

I would've gone further had I been filming the destruction of the novel.
I'd of pelvic thrusted it and teabagged it a little.
