fyi, Dietz also has Kai Leng - who is a harden racist xenophobe and who murdered an asari because he thought of her species as "wh*rish" - now openly flirt with an asari stripper in "Deception".

I think Dietz had the right concept in mind. The hardened killer who has a very "innocent" trait. Would have been good if it was well implemented, but sadly, as AVPen said, Dietz is a f***ing moron.

It's not even presented as an innocent trait, if that's what it was even suppose to be - Dietz has Leng eat Anderson's cereal because in his warped mind, that forever marks the apartment as belonging to him and not Anderson (so in other words, Dietz has Leng behaving in the same way that a dog pisses on a wall, he's "marking his territory".... abit in a very juvenile and frankly stupid manner). <_<

Yes! A Kai Leng support thread. I support him 100%. I hope he turns out to be a memorable antagonist, and a worthy rival to Shepard. 

Also: I do not support the cereal.

I just hope Kai Leng doesn't die. I mean he being an ex-N7 marine who can kill multiple turians at close range, kill a krogan with a knife, kill asari, eats some cereal, pisses in a vase, get shot by Anderson in Retribution and still escape capture. There is no "seem" about it. Anyone who can do all of that and survive (not to mention he was on a Batarian homeworld alone) should be allowed to survive Mass Effect 3 based on principle alone. You don't get that much plot armor and then suddenly stop wearing it lol.

That was less any remote sense of skill on Leng's part and more on Dietz's retardation in failing to realize that the batarian home-world is closed off to all races. <_<


Additional note: Dietz also wrote that a turian, an asari, and another human were in the batarian auction house with Leng on Khar'Shan, which was hosted by.... a well-dress volus auctioneer.

I agree, but if memory serves me well isn't Deception considered part of the lore (I sincerely hope not)? Like I said I find it to be a pile of bull****, but if you read my previous post (outside of me joking about cereal) I mentioned a few things from Retribution...which still makes him seem to be a character who could very well survive.

In it's current existing form, "Mass Effect: Deception" is not considered canon/lore to the Mass Effect universe.

I'm not gonna lie. I sat and watched this gif for awhile.
I really do hope that we can recruit him. He's just too awesome!

About the Deception fixes... I wonder what they're going to fix in the book. I hope the Kai Leng scenes get tweaked so that his character is treated with the respect he deserves. However, I have a fear that Bioware may just concentrate on some the lore breaking material in the book.
