Kai Leng is far from being some random thug. He's a trained assassin with serious skill, and the only other character besides Shepard who is an N7 soldier. They're in a class way above the rest.

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, the "Kai-Chan" thing is a bit weird to me. Probably because I still remember when everybody hated his guts and wanted to rip his head off Brutal Legend style haha.

I like it better now that he has enough fans for a real support thread, and not everyone wants to see him dead. Plus, the nickname is a great way to distinguish Deception Kai from Retribution/ME3 Kai. There are so many differences, I've seen people say that in Deception, he's Kai Leng by name only.

"Leaking"... I can't believe someone actually figured that out. xD I saw someone mention a long time ago that Kai Leng sounds like "killing", which fits his assassin job.

If nothing else, I'm happy that Deception could at least give us so many fun jokes, and many new fans for Kai. I don't think I would have enjoyed the book at all without BSN turning the terrible stuff into something hilarious.

I like this idea. And I think it's supposed to happen anyway, DLC or not, so my Sheps are covered.
