If you have the GPS, that is bar none the best shotgun for squadmates. If you haven't, the Eviscerator is your choice (or Claymore for Grunt), because squaddies do regularily engage enemies at ranges at which any other shotgun will do neglectable damage. The Eviscerator's tight spread does partly compensate that and is a powerful weapon in its own right.
