Uhm, I just got "raped" by Jack. She came into my office and we "did it" without me being able to stop it. I feel kind of violated. I probably sent the wrong signals when talking to her down in the basement. The poor girl was so closed up and wounded and I was trying to give her the message that she could trust me as a friend. I even told her earlier that this was just friendship.

So, apart from unsettling me and breaking my immersion a bit, I now wonder if this mishap will destroy my chances of romance with other crew members. Will she and I be an item now, or do I have to start a new character if I have my eyes on somebody else?

Right, the game ends right after, oh well...

Maybe I'll start over and retry building relationships with others...

Oh, nevermind, I just googled it and there are no same gender romances available for male Shepard. I thought there would be, since I read somewhere that bioware was known for giving that option. Wish I could get my money back

I'm pretty sure the game gives you a final chance to back out of the romance scene before it happens. Granted you have to be kind of a jerk but thems the breaks unfortunately. Jack is kinda of difficult to get off of because she'll take any kindness as a sign of a relationship, even platonic friendship. You basically have to completely shut her down with no room for friendship really.

If you want, you can always break up with her. Just go down to her hidey-hole and tell her she's taking too long and you'll break up. She kinda hates you afterwards though. And sadly there are no same gender romances in ME2 but, if the devs are to be believed, there will be in ME3 so if you plan to play that you could transfer over your character. Hope that helps.

Thanks and, yeah, you're actually right, I loaded and tried. The "I'm glad you're here" option apparently means "I want us to jump into bed". And the thing that got her interested earlier was me choosing "I'm not going anywhere". Both of them was me trying to be a good friend to her. What a frustrating set of options: be a jerk or get forced into a relationship.

I was hoping for Thane Or really, any other of the males except Mordin.
