1) I've loaded BG Tutu to my new computer and want to place a saved game in the 'save folder' of in Tutu. I started a game so that I could save it and it would build the 'save folder' in with the rest of the folders and files. But...it's not there. The game is saved because I can open it up and start playing but there's no folder there like I'm used to.
I used to play on an unstable system so I always saved my game 'off system' to a thumb drive just in case. Then, I could take the saved game and copy it from the thumb drive and paste it in the 'save folder' when necessary, e.g. when I had to reinstall my OS and BGI/BGII/Tutu.
Anyway, I'm trying to find the folder so I can recover my last game but need help doing so. The only thing I can think of that I've done differently is that I completed a 'full install' rather than 'recommended' b/c with my new system I have the space to do so.
2) I'd like to use a photo of my PC/knight other than those provided. How do I do that. I tried last night but when I clicked 'personalize' and 'appearance' I didn't have the option to download a photo from my computer. Is there a mod that does that? Is it Sword Coast Strategyems? Something else? Or can it be done thru a basic Tutu load?
Any assistance is appreciated.

2. Custom pictures need to be in a folder called portraits... make it if it doesn’t exist yet, you need a bitmap 110X170 and 39X60 Pixels.

1. If you have installed the game to the programs folder of win7 then the files are hidden.

Still struggling to find the hidden files. I went in to 'check' show hidden files (or whatever it says) but they still don't appear. I know they're there somewhere. More trial and error I guess.
The most imortant thing is that I was able to make progress on custom pics. I got the medium sized photo but still can't get the smaller photo to take. I guess, like above, it's more trial and error.
Still very cool. It was neat to see my Templar Knight on my equipment page.
Thanks again, CKT

Another two questions I found this weekend. I was playing TotSC using Hard Times, NPC1 Project, BGII Tweaks, Level 1 NPCs and UB.
1) When I tried to add Minsc his HP ballooned up to like 74 at 2nd Level. I know it has something to do with the fact that I've made him a Barbarian and I the Max HPs on Level Up option in one of the mods. Can anyone tell me what NOT to do so that that doesn't happen again? I like him as a Barbarian and I know the goof up has something to do with using Max HP on level up or NWN style or something but I'm not sure. Please help.
2) Also, Viconia wouldn't die when we found her. She was Near Death but kept chasing us around hurling sling stones at us. What dorked her up?
Thanks for any help.

You're right that mods affecting HPs don't tend to work properly with barbarians. I have a vague memory that this is addressed in TOBEX, but I haven't checked that. You could either use SK to correct HPs or take off the mod and change the difficulty setting to give max HP at the time you level up.Charlestonian Knight Templar wrote...

I don't use it now, but I suspect that was a result of level 1 NPCs interacting with her script to provide her with the sort of unkillable protection that quite a few characters exhibit in BG. If you want to be able to kill her (presumably for paladin role-playing reasons as there's no real game benefit to it) then taking her into the party and levelling her up before ejecting her would get rid of the level 1 NPCs protection. You could rationalise this as a period of observation to determine her true nature before acting.2) Also, Viconia wouldn't die when we found her. Gate70. The 'Compatibility Files' folder was the ticket. I found the BGT 'save' folder and was able to resurrect my game from before - hated to lose a game when I was on the third labyrinth level of Durlag's Tower.
Thanks Grond0. I did play with Viconia's stats to change them to 10 10 12 10 18 18 (I think). That may have hosed her up. Thanks.
