Simple question I hope - how does the initiation of Leliana's love scene work?

Specifically I have romanced her past the first kiss and beyond the conversation options of talking about what is to happen post blight and telling her shes the best thing to happen to my character.

My previous playthroughs romacing leliana have led to her approaching me with a conversation that ends with the love scene. After which the conversation option of 'lets go to bed' shows the two kissing. Now however this option is here already and initiates a different conversation leading to the love scene.

Call me old fashioned - but the storyline is important to me and I enjoy having a realistic romance between my character and Leliana. And to be hounest the conversation where she initiates the scene is more fitting with the romance story and my well rounded character.

So to summarise - is it still possible for her to initiate the scene? I got the kiss after my first main plot quest (circle) and told her the best thing possible line along with giving her the flowers which are special to her after taking out Connor's demon but before saving the arl with the ashes. Is it simply a matter of waiting? I have saved the arl and am currently beginning orzammar and am hoping finishing another plot quest will get get the job done (no pun intended).

Unfortunately there seems to be a bug whereby Leliana's invitation gets skipped - you can see it's a bug since she makes reference to you turning her down.

IIRC the way to avoid it seems to be to make sure you talk to Leliana in camp as soon as you get to "love" (approval 90+). Once you get the "Lets go to bed option" I don't think you can get the other scene back without reloading an earlier save.

That's annoying as it was a while ago apparently that the mark was passed - as a follow up question - Does when/ who the scene is initiated (by) make any difference?

I already gained the achievement a while ago and its simply so that when I play through awakening the romance is still going (I think the letter is the only mark of this) and if/ when I use a save to import into DA:2.

As it is I'm far enough into the game that I could almost be satisfied with the bug initiated scene, but worried it will nag at me and am almost thinking about restarting the game...

What is her approval? She needs an approval score of at least 91, as well as having the romance active before she will initiate the romance scene.

It won't make any difference for imports or future dialogue, I don't think.

I think what I did with this bug was to go back to an earlier save and get the proper conversation, then just continue on with the current up to date save.

Just to clarify Ferretinabun - her approval is 100/full - from what Wulfram is saying its bugged that if you pass 91 and don't speak to her in camp asap it skips her spontaneous (or not) conversation and registers that you told her no / lets wait / whatever. It leaves me in the position of deciding whether to keep on and have this situation where my chr said no then yes, or start again. I think its likely I'll do the latter option - can't help but feel I want a 'prefect' play-though to import.
