 I had a problem with both of my discs. I ran the first disc after downloading the new update, and the game when to the start menu. Then  the clean disc error came up. I clean my disc and try again. I tried many times and  had the same results on both discs. I also had other games and they ran fine. My copy of Mass effect 2 was clean and had no scraps of any kind.(ON BOTH DISCS). Then I cleared my system cache. It turns out to be the update. The error went away, but the problem does'nt stop there. The dlc contents from the game are now corrupted. The Dlc are The Normandy Crash site, Terminus weapon and armor, and Zaeed. I now can't be on xbox live while playing the game or access my saved games with the download content. I also can't redownload them since they are not on live anymore. I am in a pickle here. If a EA tech reads this please help solve this problem thanks.

EA techs are rarely around, though if you're lucky one may notice your problem and respond. There's perhaps a bit too much there, and I've little time now-a-days; but what I will try to help you with is the redownloading.

Check my sig for the link about redownloading and you should be able to do so; some of it might be outdated since the recent dashboard update though the principles apply.

It might be an idea to let the game patch without any dlcs and then install the dlcs.

I'm having the same problem, but clearing my systems cache didn't help. I tried the online troubleshooter and the only thing that worked was removing the hard drive

I even bought a new copy of me2 and that copy won't work either
