Considering Lightning's face is a morph of Cloud's AC render, and that her personality is ripped straight out off FFVII Cloud in disc 2+, close enough.

There is nothing wrong with a bromance. Lightning is a woman. There is another type of plationic mance but bromance is not in the cards for Clond and Lightning.

Nah, they look different. You probably judge by some screens that were made in similar light atmosphere.  Drawn characters are sometimes inconcistant in their graphics.

There is nothing wrong with a bromance. Lightning is a woman. There is another type of plationic mance but bromance is not in the cards for Clond and Lightning.

No, there is nothing wrong with a bromance. I just didn't get why Cloud and Lightning would have a bromance, since they have different sex.

As for a man/woman "bromance" - TVTropes refers to this as "platonic life partners".

It is just that specific word bromance is a platonic romance between 2 straight men.

No they are in perfect balance between masculine and feminine. Cloud has hairstyle like he was standing in front of the mirror for 7 hours until it was perfect, yes. But at the same time Cloud is strong, agile and fearless warrior.
