I'm only half-way through the game so I've avoided this forum for now, and as such this may have been brought up before.

Upon completing the quest I reloaded my save several times to try out all the possible outcomes, including killing Connor, letting Isolde sacrifice herself, saving both Connor and Isolde, and even using Irving/Jowan in the Fade.

Looking at the codex entries for my current save file where I chose a talent boost, it states under both Connor's and Isolde's entries that Isolde sacrificed herself, despite her standing right next to the Arl. In the save where Isolde sacrified herself, it states the Circle of Magi helped save the day. Swapped!

Another note regarding the codex: In the four schools of magic, both Creation and Entropy are listed as second of the two schools of matter.
