Deadmac, SOPA has nothing to do with this.

What you do not know is that its the same damn thing. Why do you think people want the bill passed? It has to do with plagiarism, infringement, and the pirating of copyright content.

"Dragon Age" is a copyrighted piece of work, which a fan had infringed upon to make money. What is the difference between her doing it and someone from another country? SOPA was made to prevent this crap from happening.

SOPA's aim is justified and needed for sure - it is just the way they are attempting to do it.

It would hurt more everyday people & hobbyists than the actual pirates out there - just like gun laws and similar.

The only way to stop crime is to ban humanity - it will never happen.

EDITED Totally scary depiction of consummation

"How badly are you wounded"
"Well, I am bleeding", she rasped wryly. "Beyond that, bruised thigh bones, bruised lower ribs from where you grabbed and possibly a bruised pelvis." [/i]

Eventually Sten also mentions that he had another ...bedmate who was not well formed with whom the act was unpleasant.

"The priest stopped me after I had broken her arms, sacrum and legs in several places. I was told she died days later from ireparable bleeding."

To which she responds.

"I suppose that's what comes from making the act dutiful", claims it was an interesting and invigorating experience then asks how good she was "for a human".

I was like...LADY, that guy just claimed he KILLED someone?

NOT the image I wanted in my head right now

But, like, sometimes the little satire bunnies like to, you know, jump out and hop all over the totally radical gnarly keen playtime that is the awesomest epicosity of them all!  And, like, it totally wouldn't, ya know, be a Cousland.  NOTCOUSLAND FTW!

Okay how about deleting the stuff that isn't supposed to be posted on these forums. I don't want a ban being handed out for it. Thanks.

So... *lightens cigarette* ... since I'm probably going to die in, lets say, three hours because of internal bleeding, let me ask this one important, cliché like question: How was I on a scale from 1 to 10?

Doctor? Nono, we have to ponder this first.

I wonder if they close the thread because of the censored... smut... If one would like to call it that.

Well, you know - Commanders of NotWardens have great stamina. They don't die just because their lover almost torn them apart with his colossal, murderous paws.

And how could her legs shiver in ache and numb? Aren't those two things opposite - when you're numb, you don't feel pain?

That is to illustrate that the authorless book was based on a highly desecrated character from a Dragon Age universe. Since the Commander book was totally not based on this book, I am not sure why this should be shut, or why I should be banned.

It caused people to get mad and bring the matter to amazon.

It caused people who care to take action to ensure Bioware's IP is not exploited.

Is that a bannable offense?

/Scared.

Are you asking because of DreGregoire? I wonder, did she give the pdf to you? I'm confused.

Or did you ask because of me? I just thought, since it was obviously sexual content... I don't know...

The smut is straying past that PG-13 threshold the BSN supposedly adheres, but quite honestly, I've seen racier stuff on these boards. I suspect the mods would have stepped in before now if there was a problem.

Still, perhaps it's wise not to post any more overly-detailed depictions of rough sex between Not-Sten and Not-Cousland. For the sake of all our sanities, if nothing else.

I'd consider editing that out and posting cleaner stuff from the book.
The posts will probably be edited or deleted.

Anyway, I will leave you guys for today. It's 3.50 am and I have a grandma who wants to go to her doctor in a few hours. Was nice with you and thanks for abstracts Imported_beer. I will see if the thread is still open when I come back.

Behave yourself. :innocent:

Done !

At least Amazon are aware - I would have simply done a review - but cannot because I have not purchased her book or any book from Amazon so far.

At least Amazon are now aware - I seriously doubt Bioware will pursue this in court but should it - there is now proof that Amazon have been warned at least twice.

So extra bucks in compensation for Bioware LOLz

You can read the rules yourself, but if it were me I wouldn't post something like that (the smut) on bsn for any reason; a link and a warning would be appropriate, imo. :)

For some, a link and a warning would be enough, for some it's not. All the abstracts that were posted here are censored and can't be called 'porn'; and they're not posted because we want to talk about sex, but only because we found the medical inaccuracies and a style funny.
I really don't see why anyone should be banned for this.
At worst, the thread can be closed.
