I personally think that the DLC character looks way sexier than the spoiler character, and the DLC character isn't even trying.

Technically, the Jack one is from the N7 reveal video a while back. It is slightly better in quality than the other ones I've seen though.

I don't know, the leaked script and these new images make me believe he's no longer a DLC character, replaced by someone else (Like Wrex, I'd really like Wrex in my squad, DLC or not.).

Yeah, there's a slight possibility of that, but I think the script says that he's a DLC character pretty loudly.

Probably just reduced to a DLC to free up for other things.

This is true. I do not know for sure one way or another. I simply did the math, using the number of pages and sizes of each, assuming the each game is given 1/3 of the Universe book. By a calculation of the area, the entire Collector's Edition book would fit into that 1/3 of the Universe book with 6 pages yet to fill. So, yes a guess, but a scientific one.

The statues are used in the Prothean Codex and look the same as the Protheans in the Visions you get both in ME1 and ME2.

Certainly not conclusive, but would lean towards a genetic re-write (again) of the Protheans.

Supposedly, there is a decent explanation given for this, but that is from the object-that-was-leaked-but-must-not-be-spoken-of. I haven't read it, that's just what I've heard from others-that-must-not-be-mentioned.
