The robot character looks rather weird (don't want to name them for the sake of spoilers) but the other character looks pretty good. I'm really liking his armour.

Hmm honestly my first reaction was negative but I've come around to them a little

Spoiler Character 1 (The "female"): Yes, I agree that the sexualization has become gratuitous. Other than that, I genuinely think this could be cool. She has links to Cerberus, to the Normandy, to machines like the Reapers and Geth. This will greatly evolve her role in ME2 (think of the jokes that could come for a bodyless being gaining a body for the first time). Also, with such a great voice actress, it would be great to have her on the team more.

Spoiler Character 2: This I am not so sure of. This will only work if it is VERY well integrated into the story, which judging by the "bonus character" origin seems very unlikely. This is just such a huge departure from the role of this species. They already had a tragic, horrifying, and pleasingly mysterious story. I have never wanted to meet one, they belong in the past, or as dying whispers (Vigil). Honestly, this seems like a moronic knee-jerk idea (not that Character 1 doesn't), the kind of thing a forum would come up with (no offense, maybe). Also, where's the tentacles? Do they have wings now too? This is so inconsistent, it's headache inducing. The Collectors (ok all semblance of spoiler free is now gone) were never implied to be what they actually looked like, they were a twisted visage. I DO NOT like this design, AT ALL.

Me too, it gives the character a look of something ancient and mysterious. And it fits with him perfectly.

Relax, I was only joking. Still, the fact that you or anyone thought that it might be real speaks a great deal about Bioware's... art direction.

Thankfully, at least Tali and Liara seem safe.

But I am too harsh. Ashley's outfit and robo-boobs are nothing in comparison to the ME2 outfits, IMO. Especially considering that Ash doesn't go to combat like that. I still don't like it, but they improved.

Okay, i have been lead to believe that these picture have pissed people off.

I haven't seen them, nor do i want to know what they spoil. But if possible, can someone explain to me in vague terms why people are annoyed? I always like hearing the latest drama surrounding Mass Effect.
