Sup guys so I got my self a PS3 controller so I can play DMC4 and Darksiders the way they are supposed to be played but I'm corious how would Dragon age 2 play with a controller> ?. I have not even played the game in a long ass time but I would give it another whirl if the game would be better with a pad. Anybody try it? How would I configure it. I dont even have it installed at the moment so I can't check. Please don't bash if this is wrong forum I had no idea which one would be more suitable for this question.

The game doesn't have controller support on pc. I think there is some weird set up thing you can do with an external program but have no idea how.

PS3 pad support: MotionInJoy
You might, might get away with just MotionInJoy. good luck. If not, don't remove it, augment it with one of the following:
If the game has 360 pad support on the PC:
Use x360ce to emulate a 360 controller. MotionInJoy is supposed to be able to emulate one too, but seems to suck at this. YMMV try it I guess.
To use x360ce, copy it into the game directory (where the game's main exe is), then run it and follow the instructions. You might need to choose to install the custom directinput libs, iirc in the rightmost tab (could be wrong, in which case look around)
if not:
Try to use your pad as mouse and keypresses - first visit MotionInJoy, although if you have "no joy" you can install JoyToKey as well. Never sure which is the official site for that one, so google for it and as always for downloads, divert power to your virus checker.
Generally I would hope for control pad support in the game, because if you're missing the support code to make up for the lack of high speed precision achievable with a game pad, it can be pretty difficult to use.
