 Hi,

Almost 1 in 5 times I play a battle in DAO or AW. (Ultimate ed.) the game crashes I use the spacebutton to pause. I laready installed patch 1.05 and my PC meets the system req. Everytime the game crashed I get a errormessage, unknow problems looking for solutions (or something like that). I have to restart the game and begin at my last saving point. Major battles like the one vs the archdemon is almost impossoble to do. I managed it only once by using the pausebutton only three or four times and crossing my fingers.
Also I have to start the game always by hand, using Windowsviewer and pushing the autorunbutton.
How to fix this problem cause its spoils all the fun of this great game?

If there was anyone in attendance to read it, that doesn't handle what is needed, There are pinned posts with helps in them, and one that starts "Read First", which you obviously didn't read so far. Read it now and do what it tells you to do.

(Do not anticipate any eMail response to your message.  In-forum comments are the only normal responses here.)

Hi Gorath Alpha,

I read Read First among others and looked for a solution for several hours in this forum!! I tried the solution about changing my Direct 11 to Direct 9. Nothing... I think my problem occurred after I installed the 1.05 patch. But I had to install that one to play my packages which are included in the Ultimate ed.(see I read the forum). Maybe it says enough that there are 5 patches and many messages about problemfixing. It's a great game but with big problems. Well maybe I must go on to DAO II with fingerscrossed.

One of the things "read first" clearly states is how to detail what your system specification is. Saying that your system "meets requirements" doesn't help us to help you. Also, DA2 working well is also not automatically a plus point.

Any number of issues could be relevent. Number of cores used for the game, being one for example.
