She's still the Normandy and in the Normandy but she can also take over the fembot body...don't forget her multitasking abilities.

Oh. So it's similar to how she got her hologram avatar to appear on the Collector ship? Or what? I am so confused right now, I thought AIs couldn't be transmitted across networks?

think of it as a remote controlled body while her real body is still the normandy. in the pic she's sitting down besides joker with tubes attached to the back of her head, i'd wager that's where she recharges after each mission or does maintenance. 

Not to argue, but I feel the opposite may be true. Pretend you're the Alliance and you get your hands on Shepard's Cerberus SR2. Then you find out it has an unshackled AI onboard. The first impulse is to delete it. The compromise you make with Shepard is to hardwire EDI's higher brain functions into a ROM body that can interface with SR2, but if it goes rogue you can still unplug it and put a bullet in its head.

I say make the best of a bad situation. There should be a scene where EDI bends over Joker's seat in the cockpit, he blushes and slaps her ass real hard. He then screams in pain because he broke his wrist and EDI replies, "Sorry Jeff! I guess you make me hard"

It's not just EDI's appearance. I've been following ME3 news, and every new announcement looked like it was going from bad to worse. Origin, multiplayer, shooterization, pricing policies, a cringeworthy story in the leak (I play ME1 and ME2 mostly for the story), character derailment galore, now this.

It was simply the final nail in the coffin when my care-o-meter reached zero.

Sorry, I've been on Gamefaqs longer than half the mods they have now.  I can say without a doubt, Bioware's community is the biggest pile of gaming community garbage in the last ten years.  There are more people on Gamefaqs who actually play the game, the there are people here who don't talk about romance plots, and fandomizing over someone with a tube helmet on. 

Granted, Gamefaqs isn't good, but its better than Gamespot.  I come here to laugh at how silly you people are, but you trying to call out Gamefaqs for one of the reasons why his community is accepted to be a bad group of useful information, then that's laughable.  

The people here complain in the most miniscule ways.  Its been considered not to be a game since its conception, a controller directed movie, and the way this community acts, like Character animation means more than playing the game like a Soap Opera.

Sorry, don't call the Pot Black because you need to look around more if you can even attempt to want to complain about the general ****ty population on Gamefaqs.

I was a little apprehensive when I first saw her design last night. But the more I look at her, i'm liking the design more and more. If any of you really hate the design just give it time, see what it's like in the game. You may come to love it.

90% of the scrubs on here are flat out losers and I agree with you. Gamefaqs actully has damn good info and depending on the board, a good community. But this place is a almost a joke. How some of the LOSERS here can come on and complain about EDI looking like some kind of sex bot and whine about how they can't take bioware "seriously" anymore is laughable. Some of these clowns need to get a damn life and realize this is a damn video game. Not a freaking life altering momnet.

You can't copy an AI, not in the MEverse, everybody knows that an AI is liked forever to its blue box, not to mention an Alliance tech specialist.

Besides EDI is way too precious to get rid of it.

I can safely say I don't hate it, that's not really the issue, at least not as far as I'm concerned, the issue is that the nomandy already gives her form, as she states at one point, to paraphrase "You walk within my body"

While some do have good complaints most just did not like the game and instead of letting people who enjoyed the game  talk about it they feel the need to drag everyone into  their misery. 

Me personally I love Mass Effect. I have my issues with it but  I still love it.
