We don't know her final model ingame yet. Concept art tends to sometimes differ from ingame models. The backstory could be different too: it's too early to tell.

I have no problem with EDI getting a body. Tricia Helfer was a fantastic voice actor for ME2. I have a problem with not bringing Michael Beatie (sp?) back for Mordin's voice. I also have a problem with EDI and Joker beginning a romantic relationship, but at the same time, for Joker it does make it easier than for him to have a romantic relationship that will require thrusting.
Either way, EDI is most likely an infiltrator or an engineer. If that's the case we have this:
