Oh no, the devs didn't do something you wanted.  It is the end of the world.

But, it's an RPG.  They put a direct limit on my role playing.  I'm confused on why they would do this.  I mean, seriously??  I cannot be a certain class as a certain race?  What ridiculousness.  Plus I'm hearing the plan on bundling some purchases with DLC making that possible.  I'm so close to not buying this game at this point and I was so excited for it.

SP is an RPG, Multiplayer has its own limitations on how far customization can go. It goes farther than just 'what the fans want', there comes balancing of race/class as well as many other factors.

If you don't want to buy the game because the optional MP doesn't give you the one choice you wanted, well that's a bit sad.

I guess, but my main thing I'm upset about, which I guess I wasn't entirely clear about, is this rumor that if you purchase certain things you get DLC to play as the certain race and certain class.  This WILL upset me and should upset you.

I'll just play as Drell or something, but if I am forced to purchase some DLC to unlock something that is a given?  I will not be happy.

No, I was saying I'm upset that Krogans cannot be Vanguard's.  He stated that Krogans have a race specific ability of "charge".  Similar to what you've seen them do in previous games (e.g. Grunt). 

No one was suggesting the Vanguard ability was related to Krogans.

Krogan Vanguard? Pah. I won't be satisfied without an Elcor Vanguard and playable Hanar Infiltrator, cloaking to get in range and then unleashing some melee enkindling, death by tentacle like in those (frankly disturbing) comics they have in Japan.

Looks fun! I've never played multi-player before so can't wait

It looks really fun and intense, can't wait to try this out! The cinematic style and the camera angles are gorgeous, a big improvement over ME1 and ME2.

One thing that I would like to point out is that the animation for running (not sprinting) with a weapon drawn still, to me, looks a bit unnatural. Like you're hovering, not actually touching the ground and there's no influence on the upper body just two legs moving. This is what I mean (It's hard to see on these gif images but at least you can get a sense of what it is about):

This footage of Garrus and Liara could be obsolete, it was a while ago.




However, this is recent. Especially watch the turian, but also the krogan and the blue human in the background.







Anyone noticed this?
